Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

It's a great bike, but it has one major downside.

I’ve been crossing that bridge for work a lot recently, and I keep looking at the area below it for exploring. So funny to see you there!

I have the same sentiment when it comes to engine size on scooters. 150 cc is a sweet spot

Hi, got the same SH150i MY 2011. Now 94.000 km (58k miles) on it with no problems. In Europe usually we have the 125cc category due to driving licence reasons. In Italy the 150cc are so popular, as you are allowed to ride on the highway from 150cc on, but not with 125cc. Both are almost identical, but the 150cc is a little bit more souvereign due to more power and torque. Just bought it for commuting to work, but in the last years it developped to my favourite bike! Quick, reliable, economical, handles well. What else do you need. Cheers.

Bit strange watching and reading the comments on here. Ive had 3 x of the Euro standard size equivalent, the SH125, a SH300 and plenty of bigger bikes and scooters. The SH handles well, those 16" wheels make all the difference, though it is underdamped especially at the rear and has the usual challenges of being a scooter re weight and the swinging arm. Any bike with a lot of plastics will be more vulnerable to crash damage and dearer to repair (and even service, due to panel removal time) sadly. Against that, it may be more practical to ride, especially for non diehard bikers.

Such a difficult scooter to find. How is this compared PCX? Can you make a detailed PCX review? It would be the ultimate comparison of scooters.

Own a PCX and an SH and rode both bikes daily for over 4 years. The SH is a MUCH better made, designed machine using better plastics, better wiring harness even the controls on the SH are better than the PCX. But the PCX is FAR more popular (sold more units, due to much cheaper price and lower seat height) and therefore MORE SPARE PARTS are available for PCX versus SH. PCX easier to maintain, fix or modify than SH. But SH is far smoother, quieter and more refined ride; The SH will feel much more like a motorcycle (requiring more input) than a normal "scooter" but then again the PCX is more like a maxi-scooter in the Burgman tradition. PCX a better value. SH with the ABS package is KILLER because bike has larger more powerful alternator and the ABS system on the SH is amazing, super fast (milliseconds) to engage and work great. The PCX feels a bit "peppier" (due to it being lighter than the SH), but the SH has plenty of power for 95% of city driving situations. The SH can also handle a few exits on the interstate but would not take the SH on a cross country trip on the big highways. That's what a VFR800A is for.

I got this bike as a placeholder. But trade-in value is like $800. So maybe I will keep it instead of upgrading. Only 2000 miles on it. Feels great at 45-50mph, but being on a state highway at 55-60mph feels dangerous. Maybe I should trust that it can handle it?

Funny I stumbled across this. Wife picked up a mint 2010 last year from our Honda Dealer. Brilliant little scooter. May of this year a moron driving a Tesla pulls out from a parking spot and nails me. Body damage to scooter on right side. After a month they decide shes at fault. Broke front fender, front cowl behind tire, radiator cover, couple filler pieces, winker lens, plus scratches on oem top box and bent muffler guard. Paid $2100 for scooter mint with full service, new Pirelli Angels, and only 14,000km. Insurance writes it off and offer us $2100. Talk with wife..she wants to keep it as opposed to a new scooter, she loves it that much. Meet with the dealer ships service manager, come up with a plan. Insurance pay big money items, I'll pay for little things. I'll put tape on topbox to hide scratches. Took exactly 1 month to get the scooter back which was last Friday. Looks great. Dealer even used black 3M vinyl tape in the top box...looks perfect. Mirror cost me 25 bucks, 25 for winker lens, 40 for muffler guard. The 2 big money parts were the fender at $240 and the front body cowel was $560!! Rest of the plastics nit bad at all plus all oem. An aftermarket front fender unpainted is 70 bucks for reference. By luck I found one for sale in our area the day of the accident in mint shape for 2 grand but in black. Wife loved the burgundy color if hers plys I had put on a Puig screen and an RMS side stand. Insurance was pretty impressed ay what we did which was save needless waste. Dealer even cut me a deal on labor to nake it all work. Wifes first ride tomorrow post accident so I no longer need to drive her to work..than f'. I honestly thought the wife would have went with a new scooter. The fact she waited 2 months to get the SH back, to me, speakes volume about what a great machine they are.

You should check new sh150i 157cc. Does not have underseat fuek tank, and has more punch. Plus its new :) Even less consumption as well.

SH150i needs a better front end or a steering stablizer since they front end prone to wabbling. Difficult to find spare parts outside of Italy and Brazil. Even tires are fairly hard to find in the right size. In some ways the SH150i is a like an "accura" in that Honda engineers clearly invested more time in the fit and finish. Even the electrical system (including wiring harness) bit beefier and has more sleeve protectors than standard Honda (like Elite series)... So if you can find an SH150i, and are willing to have to hunt for spares, its an extremely well designed bike. If you are hard on your scooter and/or want to do modifications, choose a different bike instead since these are the least customizable scooters out there.
