I'm sorry, I'm a decorator and this is just my personal opinion, but I don't agree with the paneling idea. It's very outdated and I'm afraid that would be a big regret for Kate. But each to their own.

I’m not sure if y’all have Sherwin Williams in the UK but I chose Eider White for the interior of our house. The description says has a gray undertone so possibly a cooler tone than you’d like but I find it looks warm in some lighting and cool in other lighting. We really love it. I wanted stark white but husband wouldn’t agree to that. 😆
