Wow! That’s a really cool backpack. Kanken backpack have really intrigued me as of recently because of their style and roominess, as well as seeing how other users customize their backpacks with pins and keychains, which I use as inspiration. I don’t use my backpack that much since I don’t leave house often these days but when I do, I mostly just pack the essentials for me - wallet, mask, switch, AirPods, make up bag, lanyard, etc.

I love Fjallraven Kanken products… I have the Kanken Sling at the moment, have been thinking about getting the Mini because I need just a smidge more room. Still debating because I really really love the sling, and the mini is giant compared to it 😂. Well, it looks giant anyway.. suppose first thing I discovered is the sling looked way bigger in videos.

It honestly depends on how much you carry but the mini is much more roomy compared to a sling but as a bag it is pretty small. Its just big enough to hold essentials!

@@OyindaOduyoye My sling carries basically everything, but I've recently begun using my Personal Planner again, and its a pretty tight squeeze. My main concern with the Kanken Mini is the strap size. I'm a bigger woman (around 220lb & 5ft 3in with most of my weight being in my torso), so cautious about the straps being a little too tight. I mean I have a friend who is great with sewing, could probably get her to alter the bag for me.. but would rather not have to do that. EDIT: I just decided to go for it and order one. If the straps are too small I can always return it, or find some other way to make it comfortable. I did buy the padded strap accessory to see if that helps make it more comfortable.

@@stinathesaturnian loved the bag… but the straps were too tight even at their full length so I sadly had to return it.. maybe once (if) I lose some weight I can try again.. but I think even then I might be unsuccessful because I do have a rather large frame

how do you put pins in your backpack without damaging it and leaving holes? I love the look but I'm scared of hurting my bag.

unfortunately they do leave holes, but i don’t plan on taking them out so i’m not bothered. however, if you space the pins out and don’t have a lot on your bag, when you take them out the holes are less noticeable!

I usually only have two pins on mine and switch it out and put in the same holes. Iam also trying not to damage my bag. Anyways I have found that if u really don’t want the hole I just rub the fabric aggressively and it kinda shrinks it!

the more you use it, it will expand and stretch out the wrinkles to where you don’t really notice them anymore!

Help, I wrote my name and my contact info inside the bag with sharpie. I guess I was just so excited when it arrived. But now that I’m looking through pictures and videos, nobody really writes anything on their bag. I really regret it and now I feel like it doesn’t look cute😭 also, my handwriting is terrible so idk why I ever thought it was a good idea. Oh and also I sort of wrote it with big letters 🙄... the urge to try to scrub the sharpie off.. but I know i'll ruin it even more.

Yes, I would say it’s small for school. Can’t fit a standard notebook or binder. I say go for the original size for a school backpack
