Yeah I love getting true combo by hakuda + wind shikai or hakuda + kido + creation. These people need to get out of ranked and get some help man, they been inside there for their entire life

Ive played hakuda since type soul came out, im overall pretty average; but i am excited by the prospect of a hakuda rework

Speed is good, but strictly only as a hybrid, either 25 kendo 40 speed for better damage, block breaks and kendo sbs or other hybrid mix depending on race like Quincy speed with 25 kido or arrancar speed with 15 hakuda. Overall however speed becomes good once you can patch it's weakness that being it's damage. I peaked seasonal master running arrancar 15 hakuda 50 speed btw.

The speed+kendo hybrid. Do you consider it closer to speed or closer to Kendo? I rolled Ice and have been looking into builds and I can decide between 45 Kendo with 20 speed or 40 speed with 25 kendo.

​@@batslc yeah, if you have 70 points, you shouldn't go 45 kendo and 25 speed. 50 kendo and 20 speed would be better (mortal ties and pressure shift) xD. Anyways, do you think 25 kendo 40 speed is better than 50 kendo 15 speed?

I got to gold with full speed creation and confusion without vizard and i can confirm that reiatsu is so bad on speed and just fights take so long and it does 0 dmg.

I literally went the "if you cant beat em, join em route" fought 10 hakuda users in a row who knew how to time and use the corrects moves and i got CLAPPED. So i went hakuda, it was pretty hard to learn at first but in a day the combos went so hard 😭 wind shunko suzumebach is broken

Tf do you mean, that's like the least of your problems. Spine rend's hyper armor is only good against other hakuda users (primarily hakuda users with shunko, as they can't do anything against it). What actually needs to happen is make hakuda usable on ground instead of it needing to rely on air, and that should make hakuda more reliable, less easy to counter and at the same time more balanced and close to kendo in strength due to the combos not being in air (ground combos are easier to avoid and cancel).

Low level it doesnt but high level it does, most good players block or parry fast fang, parry or punish specter step, timespeed cut is easy to dodge, floating strikes is hard to land and easy to dodge and it does no damage so you need to consistently out damage your opponent and make sure not to waste your moves due to heavy REI drain

@@batslc you need to understand that even hakuda isn't a big deal on high ranks, 90% of community doesn't even know how to parry fast fang, cuz if we putting everything on high ranks, no kido will be usefull there, especially arrankido because this is the most predictable and easy to parry/block skill tree in game. on low level it's working perfectly on high it's only logical that it's useless.

The rei drain js makes it annoying to use tbh, I peaked like 200k but I stopped grinding

Quincy kido didnt get bufed, the rei drain was nerfed earlier but it was too much so they slightly reverted it Quincy also got gutted today

this was made now over a month ago before speed had any buffs, so the reiatsu statement did apply but speed was buffed by the devs. As for emptying the moveset yeah, that's how this games combat works but it's very different when I get close to you and preform combo's that you can actually punish/avoid with speed while the kido user is across the map using true combo's (shadow stun into teppatsu, kido's actual stun moves idk the names..) and dealing outrageous damage also during the time frame at which I recorded this kido did a lot more damage then speed as well and we also lacked any proper GBs

Ive played all skill trees and you are just being biased af speed aint bad, you just dont m1 and you cant complain abt kido mashing when you were mashing too, ON TOP OF THAT the guy that you put as a example of arrancar hakuda played like a 5 year old who just learned how to use a keyboard

speed isn't bad but it's the worst skill tree in type soul, everyone ive asked agree's that includes devs nd top 10 players, mainly due to the super high reiatsu drain type soul is a skill combo based game, m1's aren't need, but the issue w kido that makes it bad is the fact you can just play passive and hit from afar, like in my situation by the time im done gap closing a kido player my reiatsu bar is gone and i just gotta sit there and take like 30 moves. along w no skill builds like the teppatsu core cheese, pre-nerf quincy kido js holding S and akido doing a lot of dmg.

@@batslc I understand how you think but i simply think speed aint worse than smth like medic, altough speed does need some rei reduc balance changes and a bit more dmg, and i dont have such big issue with rei mainly due to me liking to get up close and getting some m1s off (but yes at the end of all fight i do run out of rei cuz of speed)
