    This is EXACTLY how I lost 80 lbs. it's not about starving yourself...it's about eating healthy, moderation, commitment, and feeling good!!! With exercise too! Skipping meals is a HUGE no no. And lots of water is key. Stay away from those non realistic weight loss diets! Like the military diet...omg...the most stupidest thing I've heard...and tried.

    I've heard of the military diet. It's not stupid, just that it didn't work for you. That diet was designed for men. Females intermittent fast differently. Just try a different method of IF, one that works for you. I've made it a part of my lifestyle and it is great (not the military diet but another form). If the military diet didn't work for you, that's fine, but don't shame it. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

    Zach Beer Still it's pretty low.I mean it's your choice but i freakin remember eating only 300 calories a day because i wanted to lose weight.I could only go for like 3 days,but i learned that it's not the right way.I now decided to eat about 1200-1400 calories a day depending on how much I exercised.850 is not that bad but I recommend you increase it a bit,maybe eat 1000? It's a lot better and believe me you do not need to lose weight fast.Losing weight slowly while enjoying it is much better.

    A tip is to never ever go grocery shopping when ur hungry since u tend to crave unhealthy foods and end up coming home with a bunch of crap! Another tip is that if u only keep healthy foods in ur house u will also eat healthy. Eat three main meals a day and 2-3 healthy snacks in between :) Great video Lexie!

    yeah that's a good tip! It's super hard to follow or it will be for me, but now I am moving further away from my town area and more into like a farm area so I will be less likely to go to the store because I'd have to walk a lot and this way I will spend much less cash and also if I really wanted to go to town I'd have to walk A LOT so it'll be worth it.

    i've lost 15 pounds so far and the key is exactly what she said: water, healthy eating, and consistency. another weird thing that i've learned is that trying to avoid unhealthy foods altogether is what made me quit my diet in the end. every once in a while it's okay to eat a handful of doritos (like she said), a slice of pizza, movie popcorn, or even splurging on some cookies one night. i found that, in my case and in many other people's cases too, it is impossible to resist delicious, unhealthy foods - i always end up giving up and stopping my diet! so i treat myself every once in a while after a workout or on a night out with friends because i deserve it, but it always important to continue eating healthy afterwards and hop back on your diet schedule.

    I really liked this video because im a teenage girl as well and usually videos about losing weight are about older people and health problems and doctors trying to tell you many ways to diet, but this video was a bout a real person my age doing something simple that actually worked.

    Mahalet M it can definitely be enough for a meal. If you're on a 1,200 calorie diet, you can have 200 for breakfast, 300 for lunch, 400 for dinner and 3 100 calorie snacks throughout the day

    The point that you make in this video is right on target. Felling unhealthy is something that no should should stand for because there is the ability to control your own body. You changed what you didn't like and that is the best message to young girls. Not this "you have to be skinny" or "that shouldn't be considered plus size" stuff, but rather "you should feel good about your body." Eating right and being really active comes in phases for me, but overall, I have a healthy diet and exercise routine. While I've never gained more than a few pounds, I know when I start to feel like crap, its because I'm eating crap like pizza, soda and chips (and way to much of it). The way I feel about staying healthy is that God blessed me with good health and I shouldn't destroy the blessings He has given me! Congrats on loving your body and changing what you needed to in your life to feel healthy! God bless!

    I want to eat as much as I want, and what I want. I'm too lazy to do exercises. Then I find a motivation, and do all the fitness stuff. But then I lose the motivation again, and just don't give a fuck. A few days later I get sad, and depressed about my body, so I want to start again. It takes me a few weeks to start, and I repeat everything. Is there hope for me, or am I just a damn quitter?

    Cora 156 It happens to me too. But the key to keep going is to be happy and excited to eat. Don't forbid yourself from eating the things you like. Just limit the portions. Eat a small meal every 3 hours. You don't need to do that everyday. You can have 3 medium sized meals a day if you feel too lazy to prepare 5 or 6 meals. Just don't force yourself to eat something that doesn't taste good just because it's healthy. For example if you don't like to eat plain eggs you can make them devilled eggs and add mustard, or you can have 2 spoons of peanut butter with your sliced apple for breakfast. Just eat what you like and eat it with healthy food and hopefully it will make you happy

    i need to lose weight and this video is such a huge inspiration. i have struggled with my weight for a very long time and was bullied for being fat. I am starting high school in 7 months with the same kids who bullied me and i want to not be afraid of being "the fat girl". it's not that i am just not happy with my body. i have no energy. i have always been 20 pounds over weight. i try to eat healthy but i'm not sure what to eat exactly. your food videos help me so so SO much. please keep posting them.

    I LOVE this. As someone who struggled with eating disorders for 7 years I really have a hard time taking any control over my diet that isn't destructive. I think these tips are perfect and it inspires me to fix my eating and weight once and for all. (My eating disorder in short: I lost about 10-15 pounds and struggled with a couple of pounds back and forth for about 5 years, then I got depressed and gained 44 punds and that's where I'm at today, still with anxiety and fucked up eating habits). i usually hate all kind of weight loss videos because the audience here on youtube are young and sensitive, but this is so bubbly, positive and nice!     To lose weight you must have a diet high in fat. Have a breakfast high in fat then fast until dinner. do every day and you'll lose the weight.

    This video is so motivational I've watched so many and none have hit me like yours had I'm 14 and 183 pounds I've been like this (a little overweight) since I was in fourth grade and I used to wear sweaters all day long because I had no confidence in my body now I take my sweater off school (9th grade) and enjoy my body for what it is.     I'm 5'6.. I weigh 149. It's not much for my height but my self esteem went away.. none left... gone. So, I'm going to start exercising and eating healthy. My brother actually lost 40 pounds and kind of inspired me so, Yeah! Thanks for the video! I subscribed!

    I know it's kind of weird to post a comment like 6 months later but, I just wanted to say that I am starting the process of losing 50+ pounds and I think this video will really help me. It's sometimes hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel when you don't have great supporters and when most weightless stories are fake, but I know yours is real and knowing that, I think will for sure help me. My current weight is about 195 and I want to get down to 130 and I'm going to try as hard as possible thanks to you. Also your really pretty and seem super nice, don't let anyone tell you differently. Thanks again.

    You want to know how to loose weight? Don't eat sugar. You wonder why there is never a DV percentage on food labels? Daily recommended is 25 grams, that's about 5 tablespoons. Yea.....try and go with out sugar for 10 days, it feels amazing.

    Rebecca Marcott giving up sugar all together is not sustainable. While refined cane sugar and high fructose corn syrups are unhealthy, natural sugars are very good for you. The brain runs on glucose. That's why people feel irritable if they haven't eaten sugar in a while. Giving up sugar is a short-term diet, and the second people go off it they will start binging on sugary foods.

    isa actually, there is sugar that’s good. foods like fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts and whole grains all contain simple sugars (what’s good for you) bad sugar comes from foods like candy, coffee, soda, and so on. You can’t cut out ALL sugar from your diet because it’s bad for you, if you don’t want extra sugar just cut out junk food and eat healthy foods that provide natural sugar

    This might be three years old but it was very helpful and i enjoyed the video. I get bored sometimes of watching somebody just sit in front of a camera and speak so you actually recording what you did was very entertaining

    Good job moosh, , when I was your age, same thing happened, but I had gained between 8gh and 9th grade, snd went dwn fm a size 16 to a 6,, and basically hzve keot it off, except for last yr when I started a job, I gained about 15 since last summer and this video helps so much,, makes me remember I CAN get rid of this god damn weight,,, thanks!! Even older peeps can learn fm younger peeps, ,, I started to eat 5days a week raw vegan, and I feel sooo much better, But I love meat and candy so 2days I can have wfati want, i, but still with in reason and portion controlled

    Yup i know the struggle. I wanted to go running but i just washed my hair with the aussie miracle moist and it smelled so good so i decided not to run ahah xd i really don't have motivation for being active since i am not overweight. :/

    I weigh twenty pounds less than I did two years ago. Water is a biggie. Never skip breakfast. I'm also a college student who commutes. My friends would always get Panda Express for lunch, but I would just bring my own lunch. Finally, I power walked.

    I just downloaded the Nike training app and the Shawn Johnson stretch guide alone has me out if breath and shaky. I've done it now 4 consecutive days and I can feel my muscles getting toned and stronger. I totally recommend that app! I feel great:)

    This video was really helpful, but Quest bars are very artificial and expensive....I love them as well, even tho I have not tried them I know I will love them bc the cals are low, sugar etc. But they are bad for you....real food has calories c'mon.
