CORRECT! I've hunted with it for many years. I do have a .308 that will not shoot it, but it's the only rifle I've had this problem with. With the price of ammo right now, it might be a while before I find something it likes.

Lol coreloct for life my 30-06 pump spits them out better than hand loads a dime is way too big to compare those 3 shot groups to really pisses my buddies off with high dollar bolt rifles

I'm a rural Kentucky hillbilly who uses Nosler Accubond .308 because I get the most consistent accuracy out of it. I drive a restored '75 F250 painted in Dodge Winchester grey and running the original but slightly massaged 460. I'm debt free.

The only ammo I can buy reliably for my 303. And by the way, it's a 2000 expedition with the 5.4 Triton v8 with a big bumper

S&B can’t be beat from a quality for the price standpoint

This cracks me up😂 I have hunted with Nosler longer then you have been a live and I hunt with Sako, Weatherby, pre64’s and some custom builds! My father was handloading in the 50’s with Nosler and hunting with pre64’s

I mostly shoot Hornady , American Whitetail or Superformance SST ….

Well i have S&B ammo money but I hunt with Barnes ammo just have to take a second part time job a couple of months before hunting season to afford $60 a box. Then i got smart bought reloading equipment and now shoot top of the line for wolf prices.

I use all these brand for various rifles of mine😂

I use a Ruger American Ranch model in 7.62x39 with steel case ammo from Tula. It's make the deer dead as good as anything else can.

Man I only bought Fiocchi one time I swear... Lmao

I hunt with Barnes and I drive a platinum F150 💀 Only difference is that I’m single without a daughter. However I do go to school out of state 😂

S&B should have been: “You shoot a 303 Brit, most likely Canadian so you use your vintage war rifle to also go hunting even though it’s incredibly cumbersome out in the field but you cannot seem to sportorize the stock to make it weigh less because you’ll get thrown out of your American gun club and you know they expect you to bring all the snacks. If your shooting handloads it's because you like to save money and fill the freezer. Remember one box of handloads means 20 deer.

At the end of the day shot placement and the type of bullet used are the most important factors. If you have a 300 win mag you can’t hit the broad side of a barn with but have a 7mm 08, 308, 6.5 creedmoor etc that you shoot very accurately and know you can make a heart/lung shot with every time you should take it over your larger caliber.

The triton v8 hit a little close to home…

Today, we shoot what we can find, not necessarily what we want. "If you are shooting ________________ ( fill in the blank), consider yourself lucky you found some ammo and can go hunt."

What about Winchester silvertip? That's been my go to for a few years.

The only one of those rounds I do buy is the S&B on account of it's for 54R and good stuff in that caliber is hard to find. I drive a Tacoma though, but otherwise accurate. In other calibers I like Hornaday SST or PMC bronze. Not sure what that says.

What about the guys who just use soft points like federal fusion & Power Shok, Hornady interlock, Winchester whatever. Or the guy that just uses a shotgun and ends up killing more deer than everyone else because he actually hunts in the woods and not on the edge of fields.

All but one if these are ammo types I’ve never seen

I shoot Fed Premium .30-06 180gr Partition. Bought when it was still $20 a box! I drive an '04 Dakota 4 door 4x4. 😅 Only 2 or 3 boxes left though. 😢

I got a call for a pick up from a customer many years ago who ran a leathergoods manufacturing company and drove straight out to collect it. When I was waiting for their stuff to be packaged, the woman in charge saw me looking at a belt and told me to pick out one I liked. She didn't charge me for this great handmade belt, just like you make. I found out later that they were getting free postage due to a crazy manager not charging them. Years after, we did fraud and corruption training. Oops. Oh, well.😮 Still got that great belt. 😂

Let's go a little deeper. I'm shooting a cartridge that was only came factory in the rifle it was designed for. That rifle only came factory in that cartridge only. No major manufacturer currently makes ammunition. It's custom made or hand loaded. What does it say about me? For extra points. What am I shooting?

You hunt with a Remington pump or 700, probably chambered in 30-06 308 or 270. You're gun hasn't shot a group under an inch since it was made, and any scope over 9x is a waste to you. You also shoot the heaviest bullet you can get your hands on because bigger is better. None of this matters though, because opening day you smoke a buck at 40yds every year. It may look like a doe with 4 points on its head but it's still a buck I think

@@madwe2269 what is your problem with Remington Corloks and I use a 243. I mainly archery hunt and have never killed a buck with a rifle other than an axis deer in Texas. I personally hate rifle season because people just act so stupid. But archery and flintlock are the superior seasons.

And if you Reload with a Lee single stage press using Hornady bullets , Winchester brass and Hogdin powder = Your Poor , Sensible and your Freezer is Full

I shoot barnes. But I’m not drowning in debt. But I will say the glass on my rifle cost more than most guys rifles and scopes. I choose to be frugal and live to well below my means. And choose to spend money on guns and hunting.
