These are the best type of fresh bean. Better flavor than regular green beans. No bitterness.

We’ve dried them out in their pods. They shrink down significantly when they harden, we dry store them and cook them as we would any other dry bean. Prolific growers a garden must have if you love fresh and dry beans.

The first time I cooked my red noodle beans I thought I’d done something wrong. As you said, they don’t turn green when cooked-although that’s what the seed website says. Anyway, we love them. They are SO flavorful. And as you said they grow fast. Just don’t turn your back on the because they’ll grow behind your back.

The one I was referring to is the mason jar one, would it be TSC? I’m from Ontario Canada and we have TSC’s here. I am so excited Constantine, my hubby is building me three raised waist high garden boxes, refurbishing our old good condition deck boards, I love upcycling it stops filling landfill sites. We are getting new garage doors, so I asked him to repurpose the old door sections overtop the outside of the garden boxes, giving them a very beautiful appearance. 😉🥳

No, unfortunately these don’t can or freeze well. They really have to be consumed fresh.
