Just got mine yesterday after 7 years of braces 😂 and yes, retainers feels tight so no matter how long the braces were on, teeth still shift..😅

How do you know which retainer you will get
The thing I didn't know about retainers is that they are thicker than i thought
How will I know what type of retainer I will get?
I dont wear any braces ,can I use it on my normal teeth ????? as they are ok but I want them more in shape

Retainers are used after your have completed your orthodontic treat and would be used on your normal teeth. They are used to prevent your teeth from moving.
I have a question. So i got my braces off 3 days ago and got my retainers today but in only 3 days after getting them off my teeth have gone a bit forward and they dont look as good as they did when i first got them off (3 days ago). Will the retainers im wearing now make my teeth shift back to where they first were when i got my braces off? They havent moved too forward my ortho said but still idk. Can someone tell me?

You would not wear a retainer while having braces, only after treatment is over.

You won’t receive a retainer if you didn’t have braces. You might be thinking of clear aligners, which are an orthodontic removable device that is used to straighten your teeth.

Bruh I wanted to get braces until I saw that it melts your jaw bones plus we get literally non recoverable dead gums after the process plus now retainers for keeping it in place coz ur gums dead? Hell nah I'm not getting braces

@@demnnnja8841 i just got my braces taken off and my gums are perfectly healthy, my jaw bone is perfectly fine. Your teeth move back because that was how they originally fit in your mouth
