I would definitely suggest you get your own kettle. You can do alot with it and not every dorm or hall provides them. I agree about the clothes horse/hang dryer, playing cards, tea towels and sandals/slippers. Check what your University/College live in places allow for cooking gadgets. (Information will vary from place to place)

sumy state university...........your video is lifesaving.

You can bring too much of a good thing! When I first went to uni I took so many coat hangers I couldn't fit them all in my wardrobe. Still it is better than having them all at the bottom of the wardrobe!

Well my uni doesn’t provide a toaster or an iron ....

me watching this when my uni halls don't provide a kettle, toaster or iron & washes are £2.80... we broke out here :( great tips though thank you!

I KNOW! They'd wet it and then freeze it so it turns into a rock hahahaha

Do not need to bring heels. Then there is me turning up to class in them. Don’t bring heaps of dresses wears one everyday.
