@@PedroTechnologies I just learned that NextJS13 is just release couple of days ago and it have a major changes that makes every existing NextJS tutorials before NextJS 13 obsolete, so yes please do Next13 tutorial would be great!!

Pedro, You aand me are going on same paths, but you are more ahead from me. Your combination of React + MySQL + Express + styled-components helped me lot. Because my path also was the same. Please do a big project, mean complete project LamaDev like UI JWT MySQL Fully complete full stack project

is it a good idea to use next even if you don't need ssr or you don't care about seo? i've been learning it for a few weeks now and i enjoy it mostly because of the routing system so i was thinking about using it for every project from now on lol

Thanks for the video! 2 questions: 1) Is next.js suitable for apps that we don't care about seo? For example dashboards, online email clients etc. 2) next.js is good for the seo of the homepage of the website or the whole website? If only the first page is rendered on the server how the google crawlers catch the other pages of the website?

If Next is heading in the direction of where Django is currently then I aim to switch and stay with Next. Django is a deep dive at first, but then once you understand the ORM things become less abstract. Django is really great for having the" batteries included". It has middleware, security measures, is SQL friendly, pretty much everything's ready for the developer to use when building a production ready site. Maintaining it is much more simpler than say... react. I might be wrong idk.

what if someone do not know both and want to learn next.js , so you mean it is better avoid react and go straight to next.js? I know JS pretty well.

Not really! NextJS allows you to write your api using nodejs in the same place as your frontend, so unless you want to make a fullstack app, you can just learn next. I would honestly recommend learning next first while using some cool public/free apis out there. And then shortly after learning how to make your own api using nodejs and express

I very much disagree with you. You would need to know/learn React and JS before learning/using Next.js. Next is using React and you build React applications with Next.js. So nonsense to develop with Next.js without knowing React.

In the video i am arguing something different. I never said you don't need to know JS to learn next, i was talking about create-react-app. Pure react is crazy for a beginner imo because you have to setup a lot of stuff on your own and work from scripts you create. The comparison in the video is between learning nextjs and learning create-react-app.
