    2 ай бұрын

@@stephenchavez5318 It went good. It took about 4 complete weeks before everything felt correct again. Some it after that is a placebo mind effect. It’s been about 7 weeks, and everything is perfect, no issues at all. I bought from Target some numbing and antibacterial spray for a few bucks, it helped a lot the first few weeks. Definitely sensitive for the first week or two, but it was good. Something funny they don’t talk about, is there is a difference in your sex drive after. It’s not bad, nothing to worry about, but I could definitely tell the difference between before and after. The difference before was if the wind was blowing too hard (so to speak) would get turned on automatically. Now, after, I still can easily, but need stimulus. Everything feels enjoyable and satisfying, no difference at all, great experience, just the monkey drive is turned down a little, but still fine if you are heating things up. Just thought I’d mention it because I was surprised no one else did. It’s funny, but it feels more how a woman describes getting turned on, need to actually feel it, or have a stimulus, or be in the mood 🤣 but in general, I’m really happy I did it, it feels mentally amazing, and like I said once everything’s going, everything works perfectly. I’m lucky I had a really good doctor

When asked about the risks "some bleeding, some infection, very rare", this seemed downplayed very much. In the comments of every vasectomy video, I've found I see post-vasectomy testimonials talking about persistent testicular pain and changes in sensation during ejaculation. Why isn't this mentioned?

  • @manyourselfup1

It’s mentioned as a risk to all my patients. But remember when you listen to people online it is often people who have bad experience… that’s why they are complaining online. I got mine 20 years ago and it was the worst decision I ever made in my life. Do the research BEFORE you have the procedure. The small percentage that actually have problems is very underrated. The average guy is not going to walk around talking about how bad his balls hurt. I was to the point where I was looking for blood every time. Bottom line they're your balls do your thing take my advice and do your research. Not from the doctors stuff in their pockets but from your own research.

Do you have another long term solution that would benefit both males and females? Honestly, most people I've met that have had permanent sterilization are so thankful they (M&F) did it and have no regrets. Its is important to be informed with any procedure.

@Wesley Hartland Thank you for bringing awareness to the subject. The fact that 15% of all males who undergo Vasectomy surgery live with chronic testicular pain is a bit surprising. With those kind of numbers perhaps they should no longer be a option? I wonder why its more prevalent in other countries? I'm even more appreciative now for OBGYNs who are willing to perform tubals. Though there can be complications, cost more than vasectomys, and are more invasive they continue to be a viable option.
