so as your leds don`t have cooling, do how long is the warranty? don`t say that those tiny holes will let 30W of power to cool down the chip efficiently.

Wait so I went from HID to LED and installed just as shown... But I only have high beams at all times... No DRL .... What do I need a decoder??

Hey thank you for the information and I think you are doing a good job at explaining, however my brain is just too slow to get it all, so I would love to ask you a question, what would you recommend for a projector headlamp for Toyota Avensis 2013? If I'm not mistaken, the Toyota Avensis and the Toyota Versa is the same, but I could be wrong, I think this might be Metra information that I should add, I am very much loving the feature of that sudden lightning speed flick between high and low beam, but if you could do that in consideration in responding to me I would truly appreciate it, sometime please do not send me to the highly expensive product😂😂

I bought new HID HEADLIGHTS for my 2021 Dodge Charger SXT. The daytime lights and signals work perfectly fine but the Bulbs do not turn on. I am not sure if the ballasts itself doesn’t work or if both bulbs does not as well. What’s the best solution to know which LED conversion I need ?

Wouldnt you throw a code in your SRX dash because the voltage is different and the ballast wouldnt be recognized?

I was trying to do the same thing but my led buld didn't turn on, the bulb is plug n play d2s led. I Installed it to the 12v connector

No, you need to purchase the smae model designation as your current bulbs, or they just won't seat in your headlamp

High beam is built inside the projector’s shutter. All it does when you flip on the high beam is lifts up the shutter.

not all the time. My car is separate halogen. So you fork out more money to put an LED in there. But on my car since the high beam is 12V halogen then its literally pop out the old one and put new one in making sure chip faces are at 3 and 9 and that you bought the right bulb that will plug and play. My projectors did not have a shutter that moves. That technology was newer than my car and that's what bi-xenon is. Or Bi-Halogen, or bi-LED.@@wethepeople7629

Some projector headlights are low beams only, and have a separate tungsten reflector lamp for high beams (and tungsten bulbs easily convert to LED since there's no ballast). Some style of projectors use the same bulb for high and low beams, and use a movable piece of metal (the shutter) that moves up and down and simply blocks any light coming from the upper half of the beam pattern

4:40 absolutely DO NOT USE T TAPS! i find it disgusting that an electronics company would recommend such a foolish product. They cut into your wiring if not done properly

Great video. Too bad putting LED BULBS/LAMPS into HID or Halogen reflectors is 100% ILLEGAL everywhere for on-road use, and it's incredibly dangerous. HID reflectors are not optimized for LED. Note the huge heatsink separating the LED chips? Creates dead spots and hot spots. You can see these garbage replacements a mile away. Don't provide an optimum beam, and blind the living crap out of other drivers. Want to take your SLK off-road?... all good. Be save.
