What is different in flower arrangement and floristry?

Hi Phyllis, an easy answer would be that a florist works in a shop and earns a wage from arranging flowers and a flower arranging is a hobby. For florists to provide continuity to their customers, earn a profit etc we tend to follow a recipe for each design to make sure there is customer satisfaction. Flower arranging often starts as a hobby and then turns into a new career.
