With Flesh Wounds being much more common in the game, I think the Savant Skill 'Medicae' may end up being much more useful than it used to be.

@@MiniatureGameMontage 3+ is still a 66% chance, which I find reasonable, though I feel that maybe they could add +1 or D3 heal with gear stacked on this skill. Maybe that would be too powerful, but I don't currently think so.

I run a FLGS down under... when the new rulebook was launched, it was on my Trade ordering sheet, alongside the old book!... and both had the same product short code. When I ordered the new book, sure enough we got sent the old ones in error. I had to have a word with my GW rep to credit those and send the ones we actually wanted... which by then were already out of stock... :( we got some in the end... but they sell as soon as we get them in and then its waiting game to get more. I wish they made more stock of this product. By the way love the channel, I always try and watch your Necromunda games :)

Good overview of the new rulebook, I'm a big fan of the xp updates, might finally promote some juves ha. The new campaign variants look really exciting to try out. also bitter enminty lol

My FLGS didn't get any copies at all and they're unsure when they'll get them. AFAIK GW's also in the middle of a warehouse change, so it might have something to do with it. Might go check again tomorrow. I like the rules changes, esp. the blast nerf, though I'd house rule that smokes ignore it.

My favorite change is that Hangers on and Brutes can be taken at gang founding!

what am I most excited about the new core book an INDEX!! oh my god that is going to save so much time, no more flipping the book for an hour just to find oh say horrors in the dark for example another is the trading post I heard they actually took parts from white dwarves, and various book of ...., only setbacks I think this book is going to hurt is probably yaktribe, as it unfortunately take them awhile to update, I think we are still waiting for vehicle stats. and unfortunately the ash waste book is still needed for detailed stuff

Yaktribe is so awesome and I've become so dependent on it. It does take awhile to update, however. I'm glad you share my excitement!

Never genuinely thought about it until now. That is weird…head injury for sure should reduce initiative! Who writes this stuff!? 😂

I like everything except the penalty to blast weapons, but I get it. People love sniping with a grenade launcher.

all the changes was will needed some off my game's take a little longer but no more but I can say that orlock's if you play them right get's more out off it plus we may be getting pit fighter's later this year or next year

The -1 penalty for charging non-LoS fighter is the only rule I have an issue with and I would consider house ruling out. I feel that melee is already penalized quite a lot. You need to be able to get within range to charge, the charge distance is random and then go a round without being pinned (Unless you have nerves of steel or jump-up (whatever that skill is called)), and then if you miss you risk retaliatory strikes. Finally, if you kill your opponent, you're likely standing there right in the open. If you don't... well a -1 penalty to shoot you while you're standing there in melee isn't that big a deal. None of these downsides apply to just shooting someone. The one upside of melee is that you have a higher chance of taking your opponent out of action with coup degras. However with the changes to how severe wounds now deal additional flesh wounds, fighters are going out of action WAY more from shooting anyway. I get that maybe it's been put in place to nerf Corpsegrinder Cults a tad, but it's really made melee a bit pointless for everyone else. I'll give it a try in my campaign, but it's currently first in line for the next house rule and I think a lot of other groups are going to house rule it out as well.

Wow…no company on Earth like GW for a business model that CONSTANTLY updates their rules. ANY game that needs 9 editions is inherently flawed. Now they are doing it with their ONE good game.
