Hi, doctor i hope you are well, been diagnosed with POI but after listening to this I can now look back at the last 7 years of my health journey and realise it started that long ago, I am now due to make a decision and my gynéc is saying the pill is better for me and said it was up to me to choose what I wanted to go for, which is frustrating because this is private because I had an awful experience with the nhs gynec. In my search I found Qlaira, what are your thoughts? Or would you still recommend the HRT sorry for the long message trying to make sense of it all

I’m on the same boat. My gyn is recommending the pill (continuous oral birth control) instead of HRT because I’m in my mid thirties but from my research, it seems that estradiol in HRT is much better absorbed than the EE in the pill. I’d love for her to go deeper into this. Have you found anything else? Thanks!

Do you recommend birth control vs HRT for POI? What ideal?

Thank you so much for educating us. Any chance you could do a video on progesterone in perimenopause and menopause? I find it quite hard to find information about this particular hormone and am wondering whether changing the dose in HRT could have beneficial effects, apart from just protecting the womb.

Hello Dr please help me? I use to take hrt I was early monopose, I stopped it when I am 55 because it started hurting my legs. No I am 60 suffering from low libido, affecting my relationship. I tried oestrogen cream when I use that it made me go toilet constantly and saw. It didn’t help me for my sex drive. So what kind of HRT shall I take. Please help me if you can right for me?
