Yeah. The real issue was that it was during solstice celebrations. So instead of feeling like a protest, it felt like an insult to the already very small and in some countries illegal pagan community. Like, those are the people who are the MOST likely to be on their side. :(

Also Marilyn Monroe’s Brentwood house is saved from demolition. So hopefully it will be opened for tours as it’s a historical property

Honestly because of the target demographic I've noticed Amazon puts no effort into he shows that are for young girls and women. The summer I turned pretty, mean girls, for example. the only girls show that was Amazing was Wilds (cheap to film, no costume design needed, and an outdoor set bc they're stranded on an island) and they cancelled that quickly. I find it unlikely that it will be good.

About time Thailand legalized gay marriage! I'm so glad it finally made it all the way thru the government system this time; it's gotten so close before. Stuck the landing this time! There are so many producers in Thailand making queer tv & films (they put western producers to shame on this front) that I genuinely thought for the longest time that gay marriage was already legal there; until it was brought up in a recent Thai BL series I was watching. Happy pride month, Thailand!

@@Greybell Some are. Not all. Quality writing issues are something all tv genres struggle with. With how many queer tv shows Thailand has put into the world already, a lot of producers have found their groove. Kinnporche, in particular, was a delight for me. A queer-romance within the action mafia genre. Great stuff.

I was never a Totally Spies girl myself but the humor and premise is so perfect for animation like there are some premises that belong in certain art forms (which is why I personally don’t believe any live action ATLA adaptation can ever work) but also I read this as she said it in the video so that was kind of spooky 😅

They are doing a second Practical Magic!? That's my fav movie. They better do it justice 😞😞😞 all these sequels are exhausting. Also - can celebs stop making coffee/alcohol brands - surely there are better things/business to invest their money in.

The reboot, adaptation, and sequel fatigue really came to a head for me this month.

Similarly titled is the understatement of the century

6:43 it would have been good to mention that Chanel did not name her for the last collection and she did not appear at the show. She worked there for I think 30 years and it is horrible how Chanel is treating her. Fashion media is backing Chanel's narrative as well. There is a lot of rumors going around (intel from Superdacob) that Chanel asked her to do a 3rd haute couture collection a year and allegedly they also want to start using AI which she said no to. Whatever happened, Virginie left and the Madames in the Ateliers put down their work. The collection was not finished properly. Jacquemus has been seen walking in and out of a Chanel building. There is also the rumor going around that Chanel is having sweatshops in Bangladesh and the Philippines and is allegedly getting investigated on it.

That ended on a sad note.
