Doubt 12 will be in. They just don't have the balls to put the 12 showcase match in but it would be so sweet if they had. Shawn Michaels ziplining entrance and the match itself is still my favorite of all time.

Since WM40 arena is coming and cody is on the cover I think it would be right to include the WM40 Roman vs Cody 2 as a dlc in the future for showcase mode 🔥

RVD has a history of being in Legends of Wrestling while in WWE and 2K games while he was in TNA. I can see him getting in both 2K and FF down the line.

I hope they add a lot more matches, That's the only problem with the showcase this year thus far in my opinion.

WWE should have like a WWE shop where you can purchase any wwe song ever released. You can then sign into you wwe shop account in game an your list of purchased songs appear where you can use them It’s profitable for WWE an a selling point for 2K, also allows you to use songs from people who have updated themes & also people who won’t appear like Dean Ambrose, Jeff Hardy to name a couple

I think the other 3 showcases matches are gonna involve Brock Lesnar, 2K probably won’t announce those because of the recent allegations with Vince. But I think they’ll be Brock vs Roman ( WM 38 ) Brock vs Kurt ( WM 19 ) and Brock vs Undertaker ( WM 30 )

Regarding custom music... it is usually Mute when it is on CC 😅 so that is a workaround through the whole legalities of music sharing. It was always the case btw

I think as the 5th and final dlc they should do more wrestlemania matches let fans vote for 6 or 7 more matches me I want Kane vs undertaker WM14, cm punk vs undertaker WM29, stone cold vs Shawn Michaels with Mike Tyson as the special guest enforcer with Tyson being a playable character in the game John cena vs Shawn Michael WM23 like there are so many matches they could have done

Quick note: Yes, there are 21 advertised matches in the Showcase but there are many that take place on the same event. It's extremely unlikely we will get all 40 Wrestlemania arenas. I'm guessing we will get about 8-12 Wrestlemania arenas.

May not be a super popular match, but I'd love an '04 version of Kane, and Undertaker, at Mania 20. It was the return of The Deadman gimmick, and yeah, I know that we're already getting Kurt vs Eddie, but it would still be awesome to see. It would be also be cool to see The Rock VS Hogan. Or The Rock Vs Steve Austin, at Mania 19.

There’s currently no WM33 match announced for Showcase but you see the arena in the trailer so there’s either a WM33 match to come or there will be additional arenas

The way around the sharing of custom music is to just make it offline. If you do a community creation then the music just defaults to one of the generic themes and the downloader can change the music themselves.

Honestly, I don't even need a lot of custom music, I wouldn't mind doing something where they're making previous wrestling themes for superstars available. Would love to have Aleister Black's "Root of All Evil" or Pete Dunne's Bruiserweight themes in game to just use. WWE owns the rights to a lot of old themes, so they could use them instead of some of those random themes they use in there like

Brock vs Taker at wm30 has to be in there. It’s one of the most important matches in wrestlemania history.

I hope we get new commentary for Bray, last year he didn't have much. Also, given the showcase interviews, Cena will likely be talking about the Funhouse Match, unless Bray recorded something which I would still not be emotionally ready for.

I think it'd be fairly easy to get around the issue when it comes to custom music. If they were to go back to the way it used to be where you could use music off of your hard drive, when you upload your creations it'd just leave the music off so the person downloading it would need to set their own entrance theme. Perhaps there could even be an option to set an alternate theme song when you create an entrance which would be used for community creations. Something else that they could do would be to include all of the songs that come with the game that are just used as background music (the jukebox) in create an entrance, that way you're getting a selection of songs that aren't already meant for a specific wrestler and that aren't just some generic piece of music. If they were to allow us to use music from streaming services, then they could include a little pop up ad for the song and where you can find it. The WWE have done things like that in the past when wrestlers have used licensed music. That way, the artist is getting free advertising so the record label shouldn't be too upset about that.

40 years of WrestleMania doesn't mean it's gonna be all 40 years it's matches across 40 years plus some people work for other companies now and basically all of 40 years of mania was exhibition with no cutscenes or 1 cutscenes 40 years over 30

Most logical way for them to include "Custom Music" is to upload your own music, much like the 2K image uploader. That way, there would be no rights issues and you simply upload files from your phone, PC etc.

the 3 last 40 yrs of wm matches should be angle vs hbk, batista vs hhh at 21 and brock vs taker

I do hope that we get more attires than just separate versions of wrestlers this year. Especially as for the selection of matches, there really doesn't need to be individual versions of the same characters. Hulk Hogan's moveset and entrance haven't really changed, and neither has Undertaker or Kane or Cena's. I'd understand if it was a separate entrance and they can't find a way to choose entrance and exit motions per attire or have entrance slots for wrestlers. But there doesn't seem to be any of that in this showcase besides Austin's ATV entrance. And maybe classic Shawn Michaels. Outside of Cody, due to the pre-order bonus, there shouldn't really be many duplicates. Shawn and Austin are the only wrestlers who have drastically different characteristics like entrance motions and music to be put as separate characters.

they added coding for teammates helping eachother in royal rumble, i wonder if the same will occur with ai special guest referee. or if face/heel changes how much they interfere based on sliders. i might be asking too much though.

On the Gauntlet Match front ... I do wonder if there will be options for a Tag Team Gauntlet. I doubt that it would be in the game this year, but if they did include a Tag Team Gauntlet then we could do Tag Team Turmoil in the game which would be cool.

Two bold roster choices that I'm going to predict knowing full well how unlikely it'd be to happen but it'd be cool if it did. Antonio Inoki thanks to Muhammad Ali being included and Bob Backlund to have that phantom title match with Inoki. Of course, that'd be having to acknowledge the phantom title situation but having a legend like Inoki playable would be a good trade-off. Plus, Inoki had 4,000 combined days holding the World Martial Arts Heavyweight Championship, the first reign being 3,780. So have Inoki show up to show Roman Reigns what a real dominant champion is like lol

I'd love for the gauntlet match to have a tag team option. This was an option in WWF Attitude last I remember and I loved it.

Hoping for more cool hidden arenas like last season WWE 23 had neat extra areas.

If they do make it where you can unlock those attires / characters or whatever for use in exhibition and other things outside of that mode then it may give more incentive to play that mode rather than those things being restricted to that mode only . So it may be cool , i haven’t even given thought to my faction these past 2 years for that restriction and the fact it’s a card based game in a video game which is weird to me .

One way to deal with using custom music when streaming online is, activate stream mode and the music will be silent. And when playing online matches the music will be silent on their end.

I was thinking the same with custom tracks probably won’t happen because community creations and licensing rights. But they could also Remove it n replace it with generic music if the character is uploaded. But idk if it’s that simple

They should include custom music as a strictly offline option where you wont be allowed to upload it on cc but you can use it in offline modes such as play now and universe mode. I'm not sure but wouldn't that be a way of avoiding the copyright laws?

The problem with Alt attires vs. new characters are the different movesets and entrances for different versions of them.

With PS5 u can already link Spotify to WWE 2k23 and 2k22 I've been using custom entrance music for last 2 years. So everytime WWE updates themes I link it up

They need to look at MyNBA, and use that to intertwine MyGM, and Universe together. Give us the option to turn on, and off certain features. But have the core mode be unified.

It would be awesome if we got the druids back for Undertaker but only at wrestlemania, or the HBK WM12 glide for retro HBK, or the multiple Cena’s 🤣 now that would be cool Also I know theyre trying to avoid promoting him, but I hope there will be a Brock vs Angle or Brock vs Taker WM showcase match

So with custom music on community creation, when you make a video tron for a wrestler they actually don’t download with the superstar when uploaded, so custom music would not have to be uploaded with it either

I doubt we will ever have custom again. Having said that, they could do what Sony does for MLB the Show, where you can take all of your personal music on a flash drive and upload it to the game.

@@MrDp115 18 had the whole hardcore title stuff threw the whole show which was great, especially the parts with Hurricane. It wasn't as strong as 17 or 19 but the Rock vs Hogan match is one of my favorite matches ever.

I think if people have a Spotify or Apple account or SoundCloud, they should be able to upload music because your pay for that subscription fee. It will also boost sales for music those services

I hope CM Punk be in the Showcase and his other version. Also in my advice for Legends i think we need Lex Luger, Sgt. Slaughter, Stunning Steve Austin, Larry and Arn from the Enforcers, Sting wolfpac and 1997 version, Jeff Hardy, Sabu, New Jack, Chuck Palumbo, Test And Scotty 2 Hotty The Turn it up theme.

for the alt attire situation they should only have a different character if the theme is different. Like modern seth and seth 2015. Undertaker and Undertaker 18 was I believe one year apart same with KO and KO 18 in 2k19 that should just have been an alt.

My only concerned about this 40 years of wrestlemania thing is how many reused matches are we going to get from the 30 years of wrestlemania that they did back in 2014? I mean are we going to do the whole steamboat savage match again? There's only so much they can do with everything that has happened over many years now. Showcase mode was cool when they first started doing it but I think it's played out.

If custom themes could be implemented in some way even offline. There’s no excuse why they can’t do it. Sony and Microsoft did it with ps3 and 360 with custom soundtracks on the system no excuse why the system couldn’t detect a usb stick with mp3 files on it.

I wanna be wrong but I see CM Punk not making it AT ALL he just unexpectedly came back at the end of November the game is out in a month, the DLC packs are likely already finalised, I think a good work around could be adding cult of personality to the games sound track and maybe adding in his old 2k15 entrance. And from there community creations make some incredible punk caws so we'd be set!

Bronson Reed definitely deserves to be in the main game. He[when he wrestled again as Jonah] especially had some damn good matches in TNA/Impact Wrestling before Triple H resigned him against Josh Alexander and PCO.

Actually they should do something cool kind of on the same lines of John Cena's deal in 23 is maybe do 40 years of the most underrated wrestlemania matches. There has been a lot of great matches that were underrated because they followed massive matches like Jericho and AAA at wrestlemania 18 had to follow Hogan and rock. I would support that showcase mode

I disagree with not including custom music in the games. I mean we can literally just record our wrestlers entrances (music turned off) using OBS on computer or something else on console, and then edit over any music you want using a video editor before uploading to KZread or anywhere else... and if whoever uses copyright tracks in their videos get a claim on their content and punished for it, that's on them. How I see it working: We can put any music track we want (.mp3 or .ogg) into the game and then apply them to our wrestlers entrances, but they won't transfer when uploaded to CC and will be swapped with the default entrance music for a custom wrestler (a notification will warn players about this effect)... players can use any track they want for entrances in regular exhibition mode, but if recorded and posted on YT they are responsible for copyright claims.
