Wow how interesting. I work in animation, so I was wondering if you know about any firms that focus on art or entertainment?

They might be more boutique firms that focus in LA, but definitely almost all big consulting firms have a CMT unit (Communications, Media, and Tech) that focuses on that industry!
I am an electrical engineer. I got an interview for strategy consulting. I have no idea what will be asked during interview. What kind of work can I expect?

It depends on the exact role and firm. They all can be different. Which firm is this and do you have the full name of the role you applied to? I always try to dissect the job description, research the firm for their values, specialties, and focus, and network with consultants at the firm for the behind the scenes intricacies.
What kind of projects and what did you want to do when you start? This is a broad overview, but definitely the actual work is based off of the work the firm you’re in specializes in or offers! Can you suggest some books to start with learning for IT Strategy, Target Operating Model etc under Technology Consulting umbrella please ?

@@kalbalia there isn’t really any in the sense of consulting, but there are so many books on IT strategy or tech strategy! I unfortunately don’t have any in mind that stand out to me.

I guess it depends on what you need it for. I barely use PowerPoint because my sessions are all interactive and demo based, but our PowerPoints are templates our firm provides with the firm’s branding or from Workday themselves as I’m a Workday Financials Consultant. There are tons of videos on how to make great slides from Kajol Phadnis and Firm Learning.

I’m not so sure what exactly “emergency” management consulting is, but I would start with the people that interviewed you on what your role looks like! Since I don’t know the field myself, I wouldn’t do the video any justice.
I am an electrical engineer who got a tech consultant position in PWC India. Can I get scope to apply my core electrical engineering knowledge on any project?

I don’t think you’ll apply much but the critical thinking and problem solving or some of the technical skills from that field (if applicable) could be transferrable! You would market those skills and experiences and the right project would come or vice versa see which skills are transferable to key projects!

HAHAHHA, I don’t normally talk so fast in a normal conversation, but usually my mind runs faster than my mouth so I talk very fast. This is a video I made a little earlier in my KZread journey, I slow down a little bit later on due to feedback, but there is also a slow down feature on KZread if needed!

@@beingme7742 hahaha, thank you! Usually I speed up talking videos by 1.5X to 2X as well! But I understand that not everyone is a native in English so I should learn to slow down too sometimes haha. 😂
