What would Geometry Dash POV look like? - Press Start Remix 360° Edition (8k 60fps) | Minecraft Sync

Ойын-сауық

I re-recorded my previous video in 360 degree view. Pro Tip: You can use the WASD keys on computer to move the camera, or click and drag the screen. Try moving your screen to the beat!
My assumption was that it would be relatively fast to produce compared to my previous videos, since the Minecraft world was already made. Turns out that producing 360 video is trickier than I expected. Editing 8k footage is a struggle. The file sizes are massive. My current 3TB drive was exhausted so I had to buy a new 10TB drive for future videos. It was also a difficult just to get youtube to process the video. It would say processing "complete", show HD, show the 4k version, then the 8k version, only for it to disappear the next day. After days of processing, and a few chats with youtube creator support, it finally seems to be in working order, although the higher qualities may not work on all devices. My pc can playback the 8k but my laptop seems to audio desync on the 8k version for some reason.
After rendering the whole thing out with BSL shaders, I discovered a strange ghosting glitch that wouldn't go away no matter the settings I toggled. Switching to Complementary shaders solved the problem.

  • @sodiboo

    @@B58-Minecraft This is definitely not done with commands. Tickrate of 20 doesn't allow that smooth movement (and also head rotation doesn't have roll, but clearly this video uses that at 1:03). Oh and yeah, minecraft isn't 360°, how could this be recorded as such? It's definitely some replay mod which can take hours to render with shaders in 8K and still produce a buttery smooth output, the video is impressive sure, but there are tricks that make it easier than you thought

    Hey, from reading the description it seems like you're just storing your videos on a local hard drive. I recommend you buy a NAS, with those you can easily upgrade the storage, and depending on how you configure it, up to two drives can fail before you lose any data

    @@DoodleChaos Nas setup basically has 2 drives running at the same time both with the data. Hard drives are prone to failure due to moving parts (unlike ssds). Setting up a NAS with proper configuration is the best way to keep backup of data with less risk of losing stuff (since both drives store the same data and can repair the other)

  • @laurinneff4304

    @laurinneff4304

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@InfornoFire it's not necessarily 2 drives. Mine for example has 8x3TB (and I can add up to 12, or 24 with an external drive bay), which makes for 16TB of usable storage after RAID6 (which allows for 2 drive failures) Also, RAID is _not_ a backup. It protects against individual drive failures, but it doesn't protect against a house fire for example. Always follow the 3-2-1 backup strategy (3 backups, on 2 different devices, 1 off-site)

  • @InfornoFire

    @InfornoFire

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@laurinneff4304 Ya that was just poor explanation from me. RAID 1 is one of the better options since cost is an issue. Backup was a bad term,. mirrored is prob a better one but it does protect data incase one of the two drives do fail (though I didn't say it was 100% foolproof, its just less risk of data loss)

    This is the coolest youtube video i’ve seen ! In 360 you could zoom in and out move and the music was good !!. It was an awesome experience to live even with an ipad pro 12.9 inch the view and video quality was bomb
