even in the dagger dutchess meta the miner is so popular, its crazy the influence the miner has on the meta tbh. I think a buff would be a bit excessive. Nice to know ur opinion tho!!

Interesting idea is to buff the crown tower damage to 30-35 percent and make it so you can only place it in your opponents side, that way it almost completely removes the defensive capabilities from it. Seems interesting.

the reason miner is so good is because no other card serves the purpose it does. Hear me out, make a troop that can ONLY be placed at the opponent's side. heck, make it 4 elixir with poison damage. idk, something to compete

Don’t give them ideas, it’s hard enough playing ladder without evolutions

I feel like if you reworked the way he deploys, it could change his gameplay. Maybe make it similar to the one in CoC where it spawns normally, and then it digs to the nearest troop/building/crown tower, so it is easier to predict.

There’s is also an idea hear from someone in which you make him only be placed on your opponent’s half, this would delete the defensive capability issue

nah coz it kinda makes the card a niche chip damage card. You would never think the goblin barrel or the goblin drill could have the same mechanic because you can use them on defense, just less effectively. Royal Delivery is another example of this. I see some potential in that nerf tho!

you could also just give it a unique property where it takes more damage from troops so it loses that defensive capabity, or you could make it unique and make it so he takes more damage from melee troops since imo thats the biggest issue he has is his defense against melee troops, havent rlly played in a bit tho so idk.

i made a mention of it during the video, but yeah nerfing his defensive capability would make him less of a knight that can be placed anywhere in the arena.

I would like them to decrease tower damage by 50% and buff his health by 20%.

I think he's fine as he is right now

In conclusion: Nerf Miner

Why change him at all? It’s a good card but it does not need a nerf

i dont think the chip damage is very healthy for the miner so i would nerf that and give it slightly more health in exchange

Just make him heal the enemy tower and he'll be fins

Yeah but like, it doesn’t need a nerf, it’s balanced

miner is so much weaker with dagger duchess now

A miner nerf would probably look like ash and sulphur falling from the sky if I'm being fair

thats the joke lol. Its really good for its elixir cost. Its a great card, but these days I think its been overnerfed. Or maybe dutchess is too op. who knows
