“Support and Respect are not the same thing” I think only few people can understand this card. When I was in a time of need, people who were helping me were almost taking advantage of the power dynamic and disrespecting me. So it’s like a power dynamic. They kept throwing the favor they did for me in my face anytime I called out their disrespect

Totally agree with this and @wickedferret. On the flip side, I recently took a stand against bigotry in my family, and guess what? I got a lot of respect but not much support. Nothing is going to change, and I'm the problem for even bringing it up.
