1.Not learning about personal finance at our early 20s is a grave mistake 99% of my friends made. 2. You have to give at least 10 years to your investments to see any meaningful growth. 3. Diversification is very important. Investing in only FD or only MF doesn’t make sense. 4. Don’t forget to enjoy your life by taking too much stress by thinking about savings all the time. It’s okey to splurge occasionally.

I'm 19 and aggressively into stock markets, I have my own portfolio and daily track the markets. (Aaj banks ekdum mast waala upar gaye). I give the credit to my parents a bit because they never stopped me to do any experiment. I bought an IPO and the market crashed, lost half the money invested. But that's what will teach me.

Engineers cannot do "Everything". In a country like India , you'd be surprised to know that majority of graduates are not even employable.

Dude, appreciate the effort however not a good advice regarding not talking to your parents. Why not? I'd rather talk to my dad who has same experience dealing with money as is my friend's age. Also, read and watch Ramit Sethi, Dave Ramsey, Graham Stephen, The Financial Diet, & Nate O'Brien to know more about personal finance. All of them have different approach to personal finance and that is why I recommend them so that you have different perspectives which helps you in forming your own approach.

This channel is for people who grew up watching Aib. Audience has matured so has the creator. Keep going Tanmay

Amazing podcast. My 2 cents being a CA in taxation: saving and investing money does not only give you a sense of security in relation to the amount that you can consider as your wealth, it also helps you in saving tax. So when you are earning 500 and your company deducts 150, out of the 350 that you get, if you invest 100, later on at the end of the financial year you do get refund of the 150 Rs tax that your company had deducted. So it is always a good practice to manage your finances and invest wisely.

@@tanmaygoyal819 the company deducts the taxes and gives it to the government against your PAN. When you file your return of income at the end of the year and declare your taxable income after showing all your investments, it can happen that the company deducted 150 while it should have deducted 50. Then you get 100 back from the government. :) I'm sure Tanmay is going to cover something of this sort in the subsequent podcasts so it will be more informative for you!

Bhaai its all in all is two types cgst and sgst..interstate movement of goods had igst that is addition of cgst plus sgst only

@Tushar Gupta Example You earn 10000 Rs U invest this 10000rs in a recurring deposit which gives a return of 10% a month ( 10% is just for an example generally in India its about 1-2%) At the end of the first month your accumulated balance would be 1000 ( interest) + 10000 In the next month the opening balance would be 11000 + what amount you deposit At the end of the 2nd month you would earn intrest over the 1000 Rs( 1000*10%= 100) which was the intrest amount earned from the first month The compounding of money works in wonders only if you give it time and invest in the right place In the concepts of finance the single rule is HIGHER THE RISK HIGHER THE RETURN Gold, Fixed deposits, Debentures have lesser risk and thus yeild a lesser return Equity shares , Commodity markets, Foreign currency trading Yeild higher return as the risk involved is very high Risk is the deviation from your expectation Im 20yrs old...i have a lot of knowledge in this as i am a CA final student You can learn more about Financial topics on money control
