My family and I have been vegan for 5 years now . My daughters are 7 & 4 and we are the same way about treats given to them and birthday parties with cupcakes ( sometimes we bring our own but not always) we let them know that the treats aren't vegan and let them make their own decisions more times then not they will wait to have a vegan treat after but if they don't it's no big deal! You guys are amazing ♡ love watching your journey!

Jon thank you for explaining about the vegan part and letting her decide because she is not educated enough that was very enlightening and thoughtful of you. You gave her the gift and allowed her to eat it Not just throw it away. You guys are wonderful parents to her. I thought she was 100% vegan like her parents.
