The honesty in this video is greatly appreciated. Looking back through a project that has had such an incredible outcome and showing where the lessons were learned proves the info is out there. It’s the commitment to self improvement and the craft where the difference is made. You guys are the best. The future at Sylvester’s will be a delight to watch take shape. I’ve said it a million times and I’ll say it a million more. Thank you for these videos and all your help. Your perspective on the how it gets done is refreshing in this environment of feed the algorithm for numbers. We all grow and improve on honest info. These videos will remain treasures to anyone who finds them and desires to learn.

Let me say Damn that car is beautiful. There are alot of things in this video that I never would've thought of when restoring a car. Not that I have done it but I've wanted to. It's hard for me to imagine 6 years later and you are still going through things. The final product shows your determination and how much you make sure to not half ass anything. Great job. Thank you for sharing your learning process's to save others from the sane headaches.

You have taught me to focus on one panel at a time. While Picks Ups are different, I section one panel into 3's. I will have to seam seal inside and bottom and spray Raptor, followed by quarts of internal yellow waxy from a professional metal pressure pot and several hoses. I just want things to last a long time. I appreciate everything you have covered in your channel. They are epic & important. Learning is everything! DK

I've never done a full quarter or repop fenders but every panel I have ever bought took major work to get them to fit. did wheel arches on a 72 Suburban and one of the body lines was just not there at all. outer tail light panels on a 64 Impala were not even close. sometimes it is better to remove the bad panel, repair it and weld it back on. I tell people do not buy a repop panel if you are not going to install it. great video

Solid advice as always! First Gen Camaros are my favorite. Especially the ‘69’s. What I make sure I do for doors; rebuild the hinges regardless because they are so old. My experience has been that there is almost zero deflection on new tight hinges with or without weight-I just finished a 69 and also installed electric motors and heavy speakers. The doors barely glitched and I didn’t expect that. I also drill 1/8” pilot holes in the hinges and insert pop rivets (used as guides only) to take the doors on/off easily when painting to get them back on perfectly. Cheers and thanks for your incredible videos.
