Not really a question, just some praise for your work over the years as a paying costumer. I don't even consider a car being delivered to me without going through your detailing process, which is second to none. It gets me really hangry when a Ferrari, a Bentley or a Maybach arrives and its specially ordered 30k paint work is an orangey mess to what they answered when questioned "its up to the highest standard". In my costumer experience Porsche are the more infrequent offenders, but after 16 acquisitions and 6 complaints on the standard of their paint work they better be. Klassens are tricky things to PPF, collected some horror stories before starting sending them to you guys. Hope you all keep safe and keep your very high standards.

@Seamus McShamish I always give carmakers a second (and sometimes third) chance to get the colour right. Verde Mugello, for instance. Its a Ferrari colour: nobody should make a better job at spray it than Ferrari themselves. Its around since the early nineties, there are a reasonable numbers of models offered with it as an option, they should already mastered it. But no. Over and over again they get the hues uneven and, even worse, orange peel. Second time the car comes and its still not 100% I rest my case (in the end its my fault for buying the car) and take it to an higher court: Topaz. They make it right, I feel happy, life's good again, its like winning an appeal at an higher court. At this point of my relationship with them the moment I order a car (it can take years for some to become a reality) I talk with Topaz in order for them to be aware that the moment I get the car is going to them. Sometimes it'll be a Level 2, sometimes its a Level 5 that's needed, but in the end ALL THE TIME, the car is perfect. Same thing with power. the 4 litre VW group V8 is capable of 1200 horsepower without breaking a sweat. So every time I get a car with it it goes to MTM to release said power. I don't blame Porsche for not producing a 1200 horsepower Cayenne or Sport Turismo Panamera, I just know that's the way the car will be perfect in my eyes. Topaz is for my cars paint what MTM is for my cars engine.

I’ve had a couple of carbon bikes ppf’d. Great way to keep them looking perfect ....here’s something I bet you haven’t done before. I’m an avid underwater photographer and I ppf’d my camera housing and strobe lights. Worked really well as it’s easy to knock the rig against rocks etc and the ppf offers great protection against scraping the aluminum housing.

Thanks for this guys, inspirational. Just wondering, I remember a while ago you expanded next door, and that was a huge PPF only building, before you built the second storey. How come you don’t use it anymore?

My guess at pattern design is they wrap one car in some sort of low cling film, de-wrap it and then digitize the pieces using a some sort of industrial scanner. Then the pattern designer goes over it with the wrappers for where it needs more or less area, prints out another pattern, they test it on the car, and repeat as many times as necessary till they get a final pattern. If I'm right no need to let the cat out the bag! That's how I'd do it unless I had actual cad data from the car manufacturer, which I'm sure might be possible from someone like Pagani but probably not from some big name like Ferrari. The first car is the tricky one, unless it's a handbuilt classic and they're all tricky!

From some of your videos it seems that luxury car have no more such a great paint quality, specially compared to prices. Maybe the increasing sales volumes of this market dont allow perfect control over the entire production.. what is the worst car, compared to its price, have you been working on?
