I think that in-universe at least, the designers & engineers have entertained the idea of making this thing a walker, until they realized how insanely difficult or impractical to do so given the sheer size of that thing. The tank needed to be fast & practical instead of outright scary after all.

Mine too. It looked pretty badass when it fired its rockets at the approaching droid tanks during Episode III. I tend to wonder what Juggernaut training would be like. Was there any instance of a green juggernaut crew fighting each other on which direction they should drive the tank?

I liked the Space Engineers versions of the Juggernaut myself. Very well done. Just like the video.
I have to say that the main weakness of the Juggernaut (besides it’s inability to be stealthy or to maneuver) is inserting and exfiltration into and out of the theater of battle. The thing is so insanely massive, it dwarfs even a triple-trailer long haul semi truck IRL (which is about 38 meters in length and about 4.5 meters tall 2.5 meters wide, compared to the Juggernaut at 50 meters in length, 22 meters in height, and 19.6 meters in width).
@littlekong7685

It kinda makes sense as a defensive patrol vehicle. A column of these on prepared zones can react to any light vehicle incursions and threaten larger landing craft trying to assemble large formations ahead of slower defence units. Move in from depot to landing area, smash through the enemies rapid light columns with impunity, and reach their back artillery and supply zones to deploy infantry and light vehicles to wreak havoc and delay deployments while laying out heavy blaster fire on anything too big for infantry to handle. On the attack, yeah, hard to justify on anything less than a total planetary invasion where your marines have already secured a beachhead landing zone to deploy and supply from and roads are mostly secured and have air cover enough to allow them to move into position.

I remember seeing this thing in the 90s in the first edition of the Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels. I remember thinking how terrifying those things looked and I was blown away about 9 years later when the Revenge of the Sith came out in 05 and they'd adapted it to being in the clone wars. I believe it was called the HAV/6 Juggernaut and it was called the Turbo Tank for the Clone Wars.
I'm wondering if the smaller cockpit lacked it's own communications officer, leaving two loaders and an engineer in the main section, with the astromech working closely with the engineer.

You'd need at least 5 to 6 guys inside to even run a really banged up one, yet there's no way you'd fit more than 10 inside unless the ones living in it are perfectly ok to be uncomfortable. @@thestanleys3657 I ain't sure even in that department. On just regular rougher-than-usual terrain, wouldn't doubt that it'd be a smooth ride, but no one's gonna design & build something so massive & fast just to run on mere rougher terrain. I bet the kinda ground that this thing usually runs on would be reserved only for walkers in most cases. There's also the thing about being such a big fat target also means that it's gonna get shot at & have stuff blowing up underneath it just about all the time.
I like the screenshot of the space engineers builds of them. It's been a while since I used any star wars builds of the work shop to just make cool space battles and stuff with. I feel the last 2 ambiguous crew members would not be replacement spotter because they were likely “unalived” rather frequently like the gunner for the mass-driver cannon on the AT-TE. So maybe the replacement spotters may have been just unlucky clones pulled out from the safety of the troop hold?

I mean how many times is someone going to be killed because of this? One of the people: I don't know, how many times has the exposed window on the bridge of every starship design caused someone's death? A superior: Oh come on, that doesn't happen too often. By our standards. Since there are trillions of being in the galaxy, so even if the numbers of casualties from these designs where in the 4 to 5-digit range it still technically wouldn't be that much.

It’s too big. Tanks and other similar vehicles aren’t fuel efficient for long-distance travel purposes, so they have to be moved by other means (frequently by rail). That means they have to be relatively small. Also, it’s a lot of resources in one vehicle- probably a better idea in most cases to spread those resources out across several vehicles, which can’t be taken out by one missile attack and can also be in many places at once.

The Juggernaut was a awesome looking tank to bad we see enough of it.
Thanks for doing my request 😃
Honestly, this seems more like a giant armoured personnel carrier than a tank. Or perhaps a combined utility vehicle, since it also acts as a mobile command center as well. A tank is a _very_ specific type of vehicle, charaterised by having treads _not_ wheels and mainly being a heavily armoured gun platform. Sure this vehicle has guns - lots of them - but since it doesn't have one single "main" weapon which is the main focus of the vehicle - and the reason for it's very existence - it doesn't qualify as being a tank. Just because a vehicle is very big, very heavy and is heavily armoured _doesn't_ automatically mean it's a "tank".
I have the Lego set and it’s my favorite Lego build with the republic star cruiser as my second.
Awesome video!
Thanks for the video bro I love starwars
Spotter tower-human(clone) periscope
Love the space engineers bit at the end
It never ceases to amaze me how Star Wars has such a complete and total lack of simple sensors, that would render stuff like the suicide-spotter totally pointless. It may be that, because there is an abundance of sensors there are equal and opposite jamming equipment, that would render sensors less effective. But that does little to really explain the lack of passive electronic surveillance sensors onboard ships and in bases, that is so often evidenced by the total impunity that a stealthy, and low-tech boarding (or otherwise intruding) party enjoys in basically every installment of the Star Wars franchise.

Given that the HAVw-A6 was still in production and use by the Empire, it's a wonder these weren't deployed at the Battle of Hoth instead of, or even in addition to, the AT-ATs
Here!

Sad we didnt see more of these in the clone wars. I think ive seen it probably two or three times
0:31 the game here is called space engineers and I love it so much, it is so addicting so much so that it's like you start playing and then 500 hours later you end up with your first highly inefficient space craft but you are so proud of yourself because Klang hasn't fucked you
So these babies (like alot of Imperial vehicles being based on Republic vehicles) are the predecessors of the vehicles such as Juggernaut 5 from Mandalorian. (and although it's dumb, it makes me wonder if those rail tanks from Solo are somewhat based on the caterpillar design of the juggernaut).
YES ! ATAT PLEASE !

Juggernauts can shoot rockets so strong how nukes in a 50 km distance
if yall wanna know where 0:28 its from space engineers
I always expected it to say "I'm the Juggernaut b...!"
"...the please kill me tower..." 😆
The Juggernaut is a cool tank I will deny its effectiveness. But also can see 160kmh top speed being a double edged sword. It great if you need to charge at the enemy head on going forward on flat terrain. But on very difficult terrain and having to make sudden turns or directional changes could be hazardous at Juggernaut is probably a bit top heavy and prone flipping over than even an AT-AT is to being tripped.
Clone: I am not going to that watch tower, I will probably die officer: Soldier, We Are On Felucia! We all probably going to die!
The clone turbo tank!
HAVwA6 aft pilot: "What do you call the cities of Utapau?" HAVwA6 aft co-pilot: "Uh, sink-hole cities." HAVwA6 aft pilot: "Pot-holes." HAVwA6 fore pilot: "Heh." HAVwA6 fore co-pilot: "That was terrible."
Awaiting drive shaft.
Now I want to write (or at least read) a story of a juggernaut crew in the midst of the Clone Wars.
The argument about which side of the Juggernaut is the front is almost as contentious as whether to say A-T-A-T or @-@ (It's A-T-A-T and the front of the Juggernaut is the part with the larger head)
Give this thing engings and let it fly in the space
It's not mirrored, so I would say which ever end has the most firepower sticking out is the front.
Please could you do a video on the AT-AT

How did they deploy it? Could it be deployed by gunship like the AT TE?

Imagine rex Wolffe and Gregor in the turbo tank instead of AT-TE
