Bro 1 question why VHS have that fast white lines?

How did you get the vcrs to drop the picture once the signal got bad. After Gen 8 My generation loss begins to get dropouts and tracking issues.

You should make sure what speed you’re recording at, personally I think SP is the best choice for VHS generation loss videos so that you go further than the 8th generation

@Nik’s Vintage Things I used sp but I was also using composite instead of rf. Also both of my versions are HI FI but one is in poor condition.

@Nik’s Vintage Things I'll have to try that to see if there's any difference. The results were similar to The Together Forever Rick astly one. Though mine never fully lost the colorburst signal.

​@Nik’s Vintage Things It looks like the other one is mono. The way to tell is that there will be pairs of two rca adaptors for the inputs and outputs as opposed to three. Also, rf is not capable of Stereo, so it shouldn't make a difference.
