I have use Castrol for years in my Motorcycles and Cars for years and I have never had a Problem.

Just want to shout out a big thank you Buckin for sharing your knowledge. I just spent today thinning a stand of tall skinny trees that were leaning all directions. Lots of back cut first and even a three tree domino to force them through tight gaps. Hit every target. 6 months ago i couldn't have done the job. I've used castrols oils as first choice all my life, all there products are first class.

Ahh, the memories this stirs up. My godfather was a draftsman who worked for Homelite in Port Chester New York, which was their original headquarters. He owned a number of Homelite saws, and I distinctly remember him mixing 30 weight motor oil with gasoline, which of course, was leaded. Previously, there weren't any regulations to 2stroke lubrication additives. You opened my eyes on the oil comparison, BBR! It makes sense: 2stroke equipment manufacturers don't make refined petroleum products. They just relabel the refineries oil as their own! At most, they may order a slightly different "recipe ", blend....what-have-you... . Why try to reinvent the wheel? A while back , I researched 2stroke oil, because a dude I work for (doing yard work) lets me use his Stihl equipment. But he is adamant about using the Stihl 2stroke oil. When i was a kid i didn't have a dirt bike, chainsaw, leaf blower, weed whacker.... I had a rake and a broom! So, I dug in (began the research). The anagram "JASO" was on the label. What the heck is "JASO"? I had to Google it. Well, that pretty much explained everything. You see: there never was any type of identification, regulation, or performance measurement of gasoline additives until the JASO standard. You could put anything in your bottle of snake oil and make all sorts of claims and promises, etc., WITHOUT BREAKING ANY LAW! Well, in Asia and most of the 3rd World countries: they use a lot of 2stroke mopeds. The Japanese moped manufacturers wanted some kind of standard established that would make it easy for moped owners to select and use 2stroke oil lubrication additive. ....Also, they may have been trying to keep their mopeds from being banned (like in some smog stringent ruled places.....LIKE CALIFORNIA!). Hey I grew up in Los Angeles during the 1960s and 1970s. The smog was horrible! It would burn your eyes and make your lungs hurt. If you rubbed your eyes, eyelashes, eyebrows, nose or face; it would sting and you would get pimples. My dad told us to never touch our face. He instructed us to go to the bathroom and wash our hands, then wash our face. Instead of grinding dirt, airborne vehicle exhaust (that sticks to oily skin etc.)germs, etc. into our face. PLUS, THEY WERE STILL USING TETRA-ETHYL-LEAD AS A OCTANE BOOSTER AND LUBRICANT. THAT IS WHY CALIFORNIA CAME OUT WITH EMISSION STANDARDS! And vehicle exhaust was only part of the problem. There were steel foundries, furniture manufacturers, automobile makers who painted the cars and dumped tons of paint solvents into the air as they dried. There was oil based paint for homes. Oil refineries, automobile body and paint repair shops that created tons of smog.... Watch a 1970s Rockford Files show and you'll see the smog ....really ugly. Hey, and Los Angeles produced more oil than any part of the world for a long time! Ever heard of the "La Brea Tar Pits"? So the Japanese began specifying the 2stroke lubrication additive qualities and came up with a rating system for their mopeds. After a few years, USA adopted the JASO standard and incorporated it into the ASTM, SAE, API, ETC. The Japanese came out with a great system. It rates the lubricity(power), soot deposits (spark plug and exhaust fouling), smokiness and odor and something else???? They also rate the additives for water-cooled (marine), air cooled, stationary equipment, etc. More precise indices will arise as the stages of implementation of the standards "tiers" or levels are released. One interesting part of the rating is : all advertising, labeling, claims, etc. Must be FACTUAL. AND QUANTIFIABLE!!! How do you like that? So the 2stroke oil manufacturers has to submit a sample of the product to the JASO and pay a small fee for processing. Then the snake oil is rated and categorized....or rejected. Hence "not certified by JASO". AND ANY VARIATION OF A CERTIFIED RECIPE CANNOT BE ALTERED BY MORE THAN A CERTAIN PERCENTAGE. So the "New", "Improved", version must reapply for certification. That's a short version of what is going on. That's enough to get people to research it for themselves and understand what it all means.

What would prevent oil producers, to submit a doctored sample for certification and then go raw for the actual production. There should be an off the shelf specimen taken and tested for omogeneity with the officially tested one, at a certain interval, in order to retain the status..

Here is one of my sayings, "Some people spend more energy trying to get out of a task or chore: than it would take to just to do the job." Also, there is a legal term for your supposation: "swindle" and "fraud" come to mind. If proven in court: 3 times the monetary loss is awarded(That's the COMPENSATORY JUDGEMENT) . That ain't nothing... What really costs Party "B" money is the PUNITIVE DAMAGES: which is the punishment, can be MILLIONS OF DOLLARS!

@@robertomalatesta6604 Thousands of lawsuits from exploded engines would keep reputable oil manufacturers doing that. There are way too many oil analysis labs that could pick apart any sample for just a few bucks. With social media what it is, news of blown equipment or a failed samples on any brand would spread like a prairie fire and law firms would be lining up class actions suits from here to the moon. But other than that, nothing.

Crappy oil can make excess carbon that can score pistons and cylinders but that’s more raw then no oil.

The motor may not fail but I guarantee you that saw after a little use will carbon up a lot and now your saw don’t run as fast as it should. You may not notice it but I guarantee your loosen power. If your saw puffs any smoke your loosen power

I wore out a 254XP prematurely using TCW3 outboard oil when I was a kid and didn't know any better. Now I only use JASO FD rated mix oil. Mostly echo red armor.

I have run Castro 2T in my Jonsered 670 super for 30 years, and it has cut a LOT of stringy bark, Wattle, and dead dry yellow box and it is still running like a dream. Thanks for all your tips, have been following you for years and get loads of energy from you. From Tasmania-Australia

Great video Billy, I've used castrol oil fir last 35 yrs in motocross bikes, 1/5th scale RC buggies, RC model speed boats, lawnmowers, chainsaws, the list goes on & on.

He says he can’t be bothered to argue or prove his point, and then makes a video making an argument that they are the same stuff. Makes me chuckle. Manufacturers, the actual oil companies make many products for private label use. They might be the same and may have differences requested by the private label. I don’t know. Probably not a huge issue to make or break. In the end, I agree with the summary at the end and I appreciate your positivity throughout. You’ve a beautiful spirit and it shines through.

Just found your channel as I was looking for 2ST oil & I love your attitude and how you represent yourself keep true and keep the videos coming.

In Italy we had the same oil you described at the beginning and here is called "Castrol Garden 2T", but we had different package for chainsaw and lawnmower. The Stihl oil they sold here is in a different package, trasparent bottle with two different color choice, the red is called "HP" and is the cheapest (14€ for 1L), the other is called "HP Super" and "HP Ultra", the Ultra is the expensive one (24€ for the same size). All of them with no reference to external producer, same to your Husky bar oil. Thanks for sharing this with us Billy, love ya from Italy, have a nice day!

Your final comment was the Best advice for running 2 strokes: Run ‘em High! Lots of folks have trouble with small equipment running rough - especially weed whackers. Ya gotta run ‘em hot - full bore. Chainsaws too, but that’s less of a problem as hardly anyone’s gonna run ‘em half assed. Stihl oil (Castro?) is made to run fast Not wimpy. Keep on Bucking Mate!

I tend to stick with stihl (or Castrol) oil. The only oil I have tried that I found blocked up the exhaust was Oregon two stroke oil. Maybe I had a bad batch, or maybe it's very sensitive to exact mixing, but never had the same problem with Stihl. Always a pleasure to see your enthusiasm shine through. Good health to you Buckin' 👍

Hey Buckin’ my Grandad only uses Castrol oils in everything because he used to work for Caterpillar Australia as head of diesel sales and on one particular project that had an out of the ordinary demand on the motors, Castrol was the only company that took up the challenge and recommended an oil and also guaranteed it would be suitable for the job.

Great demonstration, you proved the point effectively.

I snowmobile and I had two 1998 artic cats and I used Castrol snowmobile oil in them. I had no problems so I bought several cases about 12 quarts per case. It was less than half cost compared to Artic Cat oil. I also used the same snowmobile oil in my Stihl, Echo and other two cycle equipment, I have a landscape business. The oil has worked in all of my equipment and I am still using the oil from my original purchase of several cases in 1998 25 years later.

What mixture. I was wondering about this as the snowmobile oil is $5 a qt vs $10 for the motorcycle blend which is hard to find. What's the difference in the two? Is the snowmobile air cooled as that's the argument I hear is air cooled vs water cooled for the marine blends.

ya in the snowmobiles we always used the cenex oil or ams oil. both worked just fine. cenex was a fraction of the price as polaris oil.

great episode as usual :) im a bike guy and know how hard bikes are strung. been using that castrol in my ol' 288xp. falling then milling. built a house. run it fat (30:1) for insurance. gotta toss a new top end but the piston ring pin was loose. heaps of hours. the only oil ill run. from ssi. taker easy brotha

Hi Buckin!!😀😀 I have used Castrol oil in my car's and trucks for ever and have ran Stihl oil in the orange bottle for over 35 years and never had a engine failure from the oil. Been doing a trial , using 25/1 in my saws . Tuned to suit, so after 30 years never had an piston or barrel failure . If I start having an issue I’ll look at changing 👍👍👍. Amongst my friends we seem to run over , drop , or drop stuff on more saws than we fail from oil issues , And we pretty much run stihl oil / Castrol only because the stihl shop is closer than anything else .

I've always been a Castrol man. As a kid I was running ultra high performance two stroke racing engines in model aircraft. Those engines were turning at 35000 plus rpm. Castor oil lubricant based fuel. Now we have semi and full synthetic but they still use some castor because of its phenomenal heat resistance and film strength. I would not be surprised if that is still the case. Always used Stihl oil because it's a Castrol product.

Great video. I have two stroke equipment and run the gas a little rich for better lubrication. No issues so far. Mind you I am only a weekend warrior. I also have a tractor that was made in 2001. That was when the diesel still had sulfur in it. Sulfur is a lubricant and fertilizer. Now we buy sulfur in our fertilizer because it does not come from the tractor exhaust anymore. I also mix 50 ml or two stroke oil for every 20 litres of diesel fuel. It makes the diesel engine run a LOT better. Better starting, smoother idling, better response and more quiet. This little amount of two stroke oil basically lubricates the valves and injection pump and then gets burned up. Try it.

Hey Billy Ray. I enjoy your videos and thanks for them. I'm a career wildland firefighter. We use 2 stroke WAJAX Mark II pumps for our work. Boy, they are a bugger to get going, but when they do they scream! Our fuel mix ratio is 24:1. For the longest time, we bought bottles of STIHL mixing oil, and we mixed our fuel accordingly. This year, however, our province gave us Castrol GO as our mixing oil. I was very puzzled and confused as I thought STIHL oil was very good oil. Thanks to this video you've cleared up my question as they are the SAME oil. Keep up the good work and the positivity. I'm a very positive person myself and it makes a difference in the world. -Andrew

I'm using Castrol POWER1 RACING 2T. For years and years pushing my Stihl chainsaw and brush cutter to its limits and I can still lift them by pull cord. Full power, no smoke, clean spark plug. Incredible...

I ran castrol gtx years ago and really liked it. Switched to Amsoil Saber a couple of years ago. Burns clean and the piston / cylinders looking good. Much cleaner than stihl oil.

Agreed. I'm just a home gamer, cut a few cords a year. But I noticed the biggest difference in leafblower and weed whacker. It seems to run much cooler and cleaner with Amsoil than with Stihl / Castrol.

@@rydplrs71 i never got my hands on the white ones, only the greyish, silver ones. And I had buildup at the exhaust ports as well. I don't run the screens, so I can't speak to that. I generally run mine perhaps a tad on the rich side, but only full throttle, wide open. Went to Saber and everything runs great. Stihl oil runs good in the saws, but they spin much higher. That's the only thing I can come up with.

@@rydplrs71 anytime. Buddy of mine has a nice BR800 and the local Stihl dealer talked him into buying and using the silver bottled oil and he had the same exact issues. Carbon build up at the exhaust port... he was pissed. Got him some saber and all issues went away. He mixes his own, REC90, no ethanol, used within 6 weeks, tops... I can't say enough good things about Saber. And it's not even that expensive. Especially with preferred customer discount. But then again, there's enough good stuff out there and to each his own. We basically quit experimenting once we tried Saber.

Well, that's another thing I learned today: how to properly run a two stroke small motor. I had my suspicions they run better at higher rpm, but now I know! Thank you kind sir, not only for the knowledge you share, but also for the positive thinking you try to spread. Sometimes we get ahead of ourselves on things that are not really that important on the grand scheme of things. Be kind! That's my mantra! Have an awesome time, my good sir!

Get the gullet...then finish off the gullet. Got it! Great video as usual! I don't burn anywhere near as much of the pre-mix as you or any other pro so I tend to worry more about ethanol content in the fuel vs the mixing oil. I used Husky XP for warranty purposes then switched to Echo premium (the only husky dealer around is never open when I'm off work) as I like the mini bottles to mix with 5L as I tend to burn 2 x 5L cans per year.

I have used full synthetic for over 20 years and my friend had a Yamaha Zuma scooter that he put 26,000 miles on in three years and the speedometer broke and he rode it another 6 months. Probably had over 30,000 miles on it. He used the injection system with full synthetic Klotz. Most scooters and snowmobiles don't make 10,000 miles before needing to be rebuilt. I have used any brand full synthetic oil in everything I own for the last 20 years and have never changed a spark plug in anything. I have cleaned a couple that were slightly carboned after 10 years of use when cleaning air filters and doing routine maintenance. I usually use the cheapest full synthetic 2 cycle oil I can buy Supertech,VP, Spectro ETC they are all excellent JASO rated oils. I have never had a piston failure in over 20 years. I swear by full synthetic and PRI-G fuel stabilizer. Have not had a carburetor problem on any small engine I own in years and I have a lot... 16 chainsaws 30+ string trimmers tillers pressure washers etc

Both oils Buckin shows are conventional. My comment tried to say many synthetics are better then good conventional. Apparently that detail was missing.

I run a 395XPW(modified the wrap handle) on my Turbosawmill as a prime Powerplant for the mill, have run through about 150,000 bd ft of logs to lumber with the power head, still going strong, and have used Amsoil sabre 2 stroke oil, at 100:1. That saw is cranking still!

I have been running Amsoil 100:1 in my Stihl and Husky for the last couple of years. I was a little leery of that mix ratio, but I worked with a fellow that has used it for years and years, and his saws are still cranking. Actually seem to run better and cleaner. No screen clogging. I run it in all my two stroke equipment now. Sounds crazy though don't it, LOL.

Glad to see someone else shares my view on Castrol/Stihl oil. When mixed according to specs, I believe there is no better 2 stroke oil on the market! Spark Arrestor screens get plugged up with carbon due to too rich of mixture and/or operators not running their saws at max when cutting. Checking and cleaning screens as part of regular maintenance will make this carbon build-up issue non existent! Great video as always Billy!

Absolutely correct. The majority of the plugged screens and carbon build up complaints come from the "home gamer" operators that don't use the equipment enough to keep the deposits burned off. That and lack of maintenance are the cause. It's a simple fix, but people are lazy and don't know how to correct the problem.

You can buy 3 round files in a grey plastic sleeve 'Swiss made' available with Stihl, Oregon and Kox labels (Europe Oregon brand) 3 different prices. Also had a Husqvarna branded file come out of a Pferd Box recently. They all made piles of silver dust just fine.

On the back of the Stihl mix oil bottle, there is a Castrol company logo.

The Stihl container reads “Castrol” but I suspect like any other manufacturer producing for another vendor, the composition is slightly altered. This is sometimes so the product comes more in line with the vendor’s retail price. This is common especially when a company has an Offshore manufacturer supply the product tailored to a specific price point. You are right, people watch way too much KZread.👍

Great video as always and some great points made. There is no sense in arguing about the little things. I use Stihl oil in all my trimmers/saws/weedwackers and I've never seen the fabled screen issue. Maybe I'll let my trimmer idle through a tank of gas and see if it clogs it up. Just for fun

Yea when nerds get all loud about stuff on the Internet, what I've found is they never do "the work" to back it up. All theory. Show me your trophy room before you show me your opinion. If you have a great trophy room, you don't have to be loud. People will ask. I could sit here and tell you I have a secret recipe for the perfect saw but no one has ever seen it. No one has ever built it. Never made any chips, but trust me... It's the best. 😂

I’m not surprised because I read the labels. Remember when Castrol was true bean oil? Great smell in two strokes. When Klotz came out with true synthetic, it was the craziest smelling exhaust ever!

Absolutely hated the bean oil smell, the other riders were probably way rich though. Went through enough oil, jugs, and pistons that we settled on Pennzoil 2 stroke and failures went to insignificant and weekly head checks showed very clean bores, rings, exhaust, and spark arrestors.

Castrol Super TT, The Synthetic was Castrol TTS - was way more expensive, smelled amazing and was mixed at 40:1 which was pretty different to the 25:1 of the TT. We used the Super TT for decades for our mowers, chainsaws - everything except our outboards. Only went over to semi synthetic and synthetic because I got used to using it in my race bikes - and it is better for minimising coking up and smoke. Huquavarna oils are made by Rotax, Stihl by Castrol - both companies absolutely associated with 2 stroke lubrication in the most arduous and critical applications such as aircraft and Moto GP back in the day. Anyone mouthing off about these being bad has no actual knowledge, just an opinion... Yeah, I'd appreciate seeing the full video on bringing that chain back into useful service for sure. ive heard it said if you use synthetic you can go 50:1 on chainsaws that typically use 25:1 , no idea if thats true . i go 40:1 on the still going by what people like billy etc recommend.

An Aussie here, have you tried Castrol A747 in a 2 stroke? I have ran it in 2 stoke motocross bikes and what was left over in the Victa lawnmower!

Castrol GTX is one of the best 4 stroke oils made. And I’m sure their 2 cycle is just as good. You nailed it. I worked for Mobil Oil / ExxonMobil for 35 years. We canned Toyota, General Motors, Western Auto, Montgomery Ward, Sears and others. So, yes indeed some oil company makes those oils for those companies and markets it for them. You are the man.

respectfully but highly disagree about castrol being one of the best 4 stroke. funny enough, their more low tier brand aral is really really good - their ingredient list they need to publish is superb in comparison to gtx. would run exxon over castrol anyday of the week all week long and the next after that too just bc you mentioned you worked for them. exxon has actually research that is allowed and makes sense to be named that way, castrol - not so much. best bang for buck if price is concern you can hardly beat shells gas to liquid oils. having said that, price should not be any consideration if we talk oil - so there is that :) all the best

@@danteerskine7678 i tested lots of oils over the years. by testing i mean real testing by sending in oil samples of the exact bought and later used containers in fresh unused out of the can state for sprectral- and composition-analysis, and sent in again in normal used engines after 200 engine hours (or after shorter but harder track use) used directly sourced from the engine. that way you can really say how the oil is behaving, how the composition changed, how it was formulated in first place and how it held up over time and use, etc in short, i dont think castrol oils are worth the money and the results i gathered were a bit sobering to be frank. the mentioned aral brand, which is also from british petrol same as castrol is, had much cleaner and more high grade base oils and held up really way better with a significant lower price tag. why? i have no clue nor explaination. i just dont. generally it is much cheaper to use hydro crack base oils (class 3 oils) than poly alpha olefines (class 4, these are true synthetics). as a company you can squeeze your margins up quite a bit by the composition of the base oil composition. additionally, the oil majors (all of them!) dont produce additive packages themself but they can represent up to 30% of the oil in volume terms - they are sourced 3rd party from unrealted companies like lubrizol, infineum, evonik, basf and such chemical companies. i dont like oils with absurd high amount of viscosity modifiers in them - these are polymers, in laymans terms basically plastic, that can behave quite nasty in engines. they (castrol brand) seem to cheap out on base oils a bit and dont seems to spend as much on their additves either. you pay a premium for castrol brand i dont think is justified. this is similar to tech stuff, there is 'older' tech and 'newer' tech. if you buy 'older' tech for the same (or more!) as newer proven better tech (or more due to brand and marketing) i dont think you made a good call. if i buy for premium i want premium. i dont care about their marketing division, i care about their r&d division - i am not happy how they put together this equation, to me it seems you pay their marketing division a good chunk. i dont like. maybe that helps explain why i said what i said - since i dont want to bash products/companies unfounded or just bc i am bored, sorry for lenght i was not able to put it in less words. ps: what i said is only true for oils sold and bought in europe since these were to ones tested - there can be (and are) differences depending on geographical location sold. pps: change the oil regularly (±200 engine hours normal use - high oil temp or hard use significantly less), is at least as important cheers ✌

@@stitchedlips6764 agree with you but since I'm old school and I use mineral multigrade motor oils in my power equipments, Castrol is much cheaper, even cheaper than shell monograde oils, but hey, since I have to change the oils every 50 to 100 hours, it doesn't matter as long as my engines stay clean

@@danteerskine7678 makes sense. many variables and moving parts overall but fresh oil matters prob even most, yes. the higher the torque & the extremer the conditions (hot & cold) the more higher grade oil can shine, and will. overall input cost vs net present value is also of consideration if it even makes sense to lube premium ofc and everything only imho.

Great Video. I use Amsoil Saber 45:1 mixed with non-ethanol 91 gas in all my 2 strokes.

That's all we run is Castrol, my old man was in at the stihl dealer 25 years ago and talked to a stihl rep and he even said don't waste your money on the stihl mix oil and buy Castrol because they make it for stihl lol . Cheaper and is just as good !

I started using Castrol in my 4 stroke bikes back in the early 70's as this was the only oil that did not foam up (due to high rpm). Later on I used it in my Banshee and like you have found no reason to switch.

Here in Brazil the two stroke oil that Stihl sells and recommends comes with a huge Castrol symbol and a small one Stihl. Yes it is made by Castrol, and is one of the best in the market.

What a great Human Being you are Buckin , and what a positive outlook on life you have I love your Channel,I don’t understand all the hype over the synthetic 2cycle oil that there is My dad ran Castrol motor oil and 2 cycle oil for years and I followed his lead I’ve never had a problem with there products , if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

My mind is blown. Thank you.

I’ve used Klotz in my snowmobile, saws, trimmer, blower etc no issues. use what you like.

I use anything but Klotz, love the oil but can't stand the fumes in a string trimmer or saw. In a dirt bike or snowmobile it is excellent. Yes it smells cool like race gas but makes me gag.

I will say that I have a preference for Yamalube 2t. I had a Yamaha RZ500 back in the 90s and I put 75000klms on it without an oil related engine problem, all original crankshaft bearings and rods and 3 of the 4 pistons ( crank seal failure took out a piston at 25000klms) and I re ringed it at that time. I drove that thing like I stole it almost every chance I could too. That bike was a V4 liquid cooled 2 stroke with 2 crankshafts. Went like stink.

Great video, always have used Castrol oils from my early motorbiking days (BSA Bantam) through to present in my Isuzu and Mitsubishi. Best two stroke oils on the market.

Been using Klotz Synthetic for a while. Love the sweet smell. Had problems with Stihl oil gumming up rings in smaller saws and weed whackers that sit for 6 months of the year. Might be because I mix at 40:1 and alot of the newer smaller engines (below 55cc) call for 50:1. Found that if you remove the spark arrestor and open up the exit on the muffler a bit the Stihl oil doesn't gum up the cylinder and ring any more.

Are you using premium fuels . Never use ethanol blended fuels ever !

@@1979augistine in my area ethanol blend is all you can get. Unless you want to breath in low lead 110 aviation fuel or drive to the lake and hope you can get some over priced boat fuel. If it’s even ethanol free.

Most pumps in pa have 10% ethanol. Been running it for years. Dont let it sit around. Many 2 stroke oils have a stabilizer blended in nowadays. Im not gonna drive myself crazy having to run exact shit everytime. I got better things to worrie about.

Hi Billy Love watching all your videos on KZread it’s good seeing someone that is passionate love sharing. I agree with you don’t like debating what is best 2 Stroke oil or best ratio it can be a touchy subject. I did ask the question to a very famous saw Builder that you might know about who has been building saws for many years he gave me his opinion what was best 2 stroke oil and ratio which I have had best results and will stick with it. A very good Point he made was a good sharp chain and well maintained cleaned saw is more important than Debating about different brands of 2 stroke oil’s there are more brands of oil’s now than what there was 20 years ago take a pick and see what works best for you keep up the good work love watching you cut with those old vintage saw’s

What I uss is Lucas semi synthetic two stroke oil! Doesn't smoke much,burns cleaner,doesn't foul out plugs,etc. I have a huskyvarna weed eater that I run it in,no problems cranking it.

I’m right there with you I’m not having the energy to argue over something so insignificant my friend. I feel that some people reach a point in their life where they put their ego to the side and are fine with and happy to learn things differently. I feel that is the ultimate way to grow as a person, being able to genuinely listen to someone and appreciate their way of doing things instead of thinking that there is only one way to skin a cat.

My Dad used Castrol in his car repair business many years ago, oil, grease, 2 stroke oil, you name it. Even our racing bikes...never an issue. But I was until now unaware that Stihl premium was made by Castrol. Thank You for this revelation, Billy. I am just about to get more oils for my saws, (mixing oil, and bar oil) I know exactly what I'm getting now.

When i was a teen i used Castrol TT in my bike and my grandpa and my father start to steal it for make the mix because they discovered how good it was! Now i think is called power I or something like that. Now im using the Castrol garden. I think it's really good! Maybe is made for smaller engine... But who knows! It's not my job!! Thanks a lot for your contents! I've learned a lot!

I haven't found anything better than amsoil Sabre. 65-1 for years and no visible internal carbon or engine failures. I don't have as much experience with saws but a lot with hedge trimmers, string trimmers, and other small 2 strokes
