Bernanke and Paulson talked the 5 big Banks into loosening up credit in 2008. Since then Consumer Debt increased by $5 trillion. They will never admit the Economy has run into a BRICS Wall, until the body count is released. 70% of available resources on this planet are located within the Nations who are in the BRICS Group and Associates.. That Supply Chain they were mentioning...... That is now located firmly in the BRICS Trade Union. Inflation began to increase in 2015 after the New Development Bank announced their loan program in 2014. Commodity Brokers can cut back on asking for Products to be delivered to the US Ports, but they now are forced to pay the prices that BRICS and SCO set. The Brokers do not get to determine the prices any longer.

Look at the price of crude oil in may ending, the latest cpi figures are due to the price of oil between april and may. it takes 2 months for the price of crude oil to have an impact on the cpi. The price of crude oil started climbing again from first week of june, now we are in july and the ppi is climbing again, remember that to predict inflation, watch the ppi, so the next cpi figures will move up. The fed cannot cut rates with crude oil price at above 80 dollars per barrel. it it impossible, believe it or not.

Real people (49%) have no credit card debt. Real people have had their wages outpace inflation for the last 14 months straight. The FOMC would appear to be politically supporting the incumbent party if they cut rates this close to the elections. They have missed their window to cut without appear to be partisans. This would all be ensure that their career prospect would be at risk if/when Trump is sworn in. Thus, the odds are that these career focused people will do nothing. Stick to the mega caps and stay away from worthless value stocks.

I agree with your argument, but I think Powell understands that if cutting in September is necessary, they will. A single .25bps doesn’t do anything for the economy, but for the stock market probably. The world economy is weak, that in conjunction with the acceleration of weakness in the U.S. is a bit ominous.

The Banks appear to be unable to get more cash. The FED can not print while Treasury is unable to back them with T-Note sales. The ability to manipulate the numbers is really making Yellen and Powell appear stressed out..... They seem to have difficulty telling the Public things they know are not true.
