Real Men Real Style are you wearing a navy suit or navy blazer sir? I am very confused between buying a navy color coat. The only difference that i found between them two was that suit had a matching pant and blazer didn't. Except for that i almost found that the jacket of suit and blazer were identical. I actually want to wear a navy jacket with with t shirt and jeans for a fresher's party. So what would you suggest?

I miss these style of videos and I'm hoping they'll come back.

Hey Antonio, thanks to your advice now I know how to combine my dress clothes properly, I had to buy a couple items to correct some of my dressing mistakes but now when I wear a suit for any occasion I feel like like a million dollars, thank you.

You handle these videos so well and they are always useful. You show that a mature and respectful personality is the best addition to the clothes.

When I'm styling looks for men, whether on set with male actors, fashion editorials or personal clients - I like to encourage men to step out of their comfort zone with color and patterns especially with button down shirts. Navy blazers are the best at having fun with this. Try light/pale pinks & yellows and small to medium checkered shirts. Even stripes. Since we're coming into spring/summer seasons, this is the best time to play with color/prints. Have fun!

I’ve always felt that the Navy blazer is the single most versatile piece of clothing in a business wardrobe. Paired with white /blue dress shirts; either grey or khaki dress pants, and the right tie, and you can pass acceptably in most formal business environments. Yet change the shirt and/ or tie, along with the shoes and you can comfortably fit in at less formal events.

I'm a fan of wearing a blazer with a more casual outfit. My go to navy blazer accompaniments are corduroy or flannels, a plaid shirt, and brown bluchers. This is a great smart casual look, just as long as the blazer is not worsted with structured shoulders.

A navy blue blazer is one of the jackets I'm wearing every day (the other one's light grey) and I usually combine it with a white, wine red or light blue dress shirt and navy or red chinos. Ocasionally I wear a v-necked green jumper or a t-shirt under the dress shirt as well. And all styles and colors work for me

So ive noticed that a lot of men get divots on the sleeve with the long shoulder length, i can see then in this video on you as well. Is that ok with blazers? I understand it has to do with shoulder length which one of mine is a little long and i get the divots but im thinking about changing that just not sure if i should go down in size then deal with lapel bulging...

Help! Lol just got a custom suit made for a buddy's wedding in Aruba in February. It's a light navy, slim fit, with almost a hint of black. I just bought a nice candy striped dress shirt and I was wondering if it goes well with a navy blazer and a darker navy tie. The candy stripe pattern is blue and white.

Also, a Winchester Dress shirt (a style were the shirt collar and cuffs are always white, regardless of the color of the shirt) offers a dramatic contrast between blazer, shirt, and tie or ascot. If wearing a French Cuff shirt be sure that the blazer buttons and the cufflinks are the same color: gold with gold or silver with silver or opt for silk knot cufflinks which can complement the color(s) of the shirt , tie , ascot or pocket square.

Great video! One question, what are the trousers colors you recommend the most with a navy blazer? not just the "safest" colors but all the colors you consider that can be worn with a navy blazer.

Manuel Malagon I don't own a navy blazer, but they seem to look good with khaki/tan, certain shades of brown, shades of gray, white, royal blue, red.

I quite often watch you videos. For some reason I really like this one! It seems that you covered quite a lot from articles that you always mention! I never read those articles, as reading is not my thing. I might miss a lot, but it's too difficult for me - reading some published articles/books with clear beginning and end - absolutely any, not just yours (to make it clear). Maybe it's some kind of a feeling that hearing a person speaking just makes it a bit more efficient. Or maybe it can be a form of "socialisation" which I often miss and seek for it. Anyway, THANKS for all the videos you make, especially this one, which encouraged me to write my first comment on your videos. I like style tips and use them, as I work in a place where I need to be dressed fully/semi formal. :)

Thank you for your channel. I've subscribed and have been watching many of your videos over the past couple of weeks. Do you have a video similar to this with that addresses' matching trousers/shirts to a Tan jacket? I know, from your sports jacket video, tan isn't your favorite based on your own complexion. But you also pull it off nicely in some of your videos as well. Tan works great for me, but I do want to get out of Tan Jacket/blue shirt/navy pants. Antonio, do you consider there to be any rules with matching blazer materials? I have a nice pair of odd trousers in charcoal (actually bought as an additional pair of suit trousers for a suit I purchased). They are of a high grade worsted wool, whereas my blazer is unconstructed cotton, and the two never seem to mesh all that well. I think it would go better with a more casual pair of chinos given its construction however. Any recommendations/observations?

Hi! Is it bad idea to match a very dark navy suit and trousers with a black vest/waistcoat? Because I cannot find any lighter colors on a vest in the local stores, and it's to late to order online because the occasion when I need it is very soon. +Colin Williams Yeah! The problem arises when the hues match up too closely as from a distance it can look like a suit. Classic Chinos - an excellent contrast to the navy blue blazer or grey flannel trousers. :) That's fine because you can wear your blazer multiple times because it's very interchangeable!

It depends on the material of the blazer. Corduroy is a hard material to match.

Antonio, as always, I love your videos and great content, I would suggest that, as a viewer, if you name something it would be nice to see the outfit on you, I know you are not a model but in this case, for us viewers of the cannel, you are, for example if you say "Navy blazer with jeans and brown derbys" then show yourself wearing that combination, that entire outfit so we can see how it all comes togheter, I know it's a lot more work per video than just adding internet images of the things you mention, but that way feels more useful for us. Thanks in advance, and keep up the great work!

Shoes depend on pant color, but some shade of brown usually works best. Ascot should match the blazer but does not have to be solid and needs to contrast with the shirt.

Hi. I'd like to know how many colors would be appropriate for styling? Would three be okay? As an example, charcoal gray/black for trousers and waistcoat, navy blue for blazer, and perhaps gold/brown for cufflinks and tie. Would that be considered appropriate or too much? Sounds good to me but I'm not an expert. I would go with a darker brown on the shoes with dark grey pants but that's just me.
