I forgot CHAPSTICK lol! Pack lots of chapsticks and even a nursing pillow if you want to use one. I ended up just preferring to use the hospital pillows but I know many love the nursing pillow :)

Where can I get suitcase?

A blanket was a must because it was so cold and chapstick because it's so dry. This was a great list for not over packing

Hi Maddy, My “ baby” is now 20 and I’m 44. I obviously won’t be needing to pack a hospital bag BUT I think it shows how genuine , nice and entertaining you are that I watch and enjoy ALL of your videos. Thank you so much for this vid it is really helpful. One side note I want to mention to anyone else who is a 1st time mom who is going to formula feed is to dbl check w/ your hospital to see if they provide it. Not all hospitals will supply it. Take mine for example they dont keep formula in the hospital bc they dont recommend or encourage it in anyway & they highly encourage breast feeding. They do provide donor breast milk in case you need it if your having a hard time getting your baby to latch etc. So just something to ask & think about too.

How do you know what size to buy in the leggings? Right now all I'm able to wear are maternity leggings and maternity pants so I buy the same size in those that I wore before I was pregnant. But I'm guessing I would need a different size in these?

I had to stay longer in the hospital because of complications and you definitely need more stuff especially for the baby. I had a four day and night stay. Bottle, pacifier, formula, dads air mattress, props for pictures

I think I stopped using the tucks and spray stuff they gave me after 2 weeks but honestly, I don't remember much I just remember after a month I was done with all of that spraying down there and tucks as well as pads I think. I did have minium tearing and stitching that dissolved on their own. I do remember being sore for like 3 weeks though down there and it was months and months before I could have normal sex again or even sex, to begin with. I am still in so much back pain and arm pain that won't ever go away because of scoliosis I knew the chances of the epidural working well on the first try. The person who put mine in ended up not doing it well so another person later in my labor came in to redo mine which ended up causing a pinched nerve pain which I think my boy was pressing on anyway. When my water broke almost a month early I didn't have time to pack my hospital bag as we were planning to do it that up the coming weekend of January 13 as he was due Feb 1st but apparently Jan 9th last year my water broke. So after delivery, my husband brought me what I needed and I had a robe that my mom gave to me to have which I used in the hospital a lot plus their gown I wore.

I had a csection and I didnt wear anything I packed and stayed in the hospital gown because it was painful to move and I bled everywhere. My nurses loved that I brought my belongings after i had my son because it's a hassle to move to different rooms. 😉

Yes this is VERY important. Use a hypoallergenic and unscented detergent BEFORE baby is born (recommend washing newborn and 0-3mo only)

I'm in Canada and they dont provide annnnything at the hospital. We have to bring our own diapers and wipes for baby alongside everything for me.

I'm 26 weeks and I've lost 26lbs, lol still morning (all day) sickness, doctor says it's ok and that baby is good and growing.
