Great video! Just what I needed for this coming Sept!! Thank you!!!!!!
I live in Seattle and we went in Sept and took our regular winter clothes. Perfect. But next time, I'd bring nicer clothes for Reykjavik...well at least for going out. They dress nice in town!

Thanks for your support Brandon! Hope you have an amazing trip :)
Used your guide to go to Iceland last year in late September/October. It was so beautiful though no Northern Lighst unfortunately. The rain pants and jacket were perfect especially when walking by the waterfalls!

Hi there, Loving your videos thank you. Do you think Yak Trax cleats are a good option if you are travelling and touring around Iceland in early October please? Cheers from Marg
So winter packing with extra rain gear.

Yes, thank you for pointing that out! Fixed it now :)
I followed your rain jacket and pants link. That’s for a mens set. Is that what you wear or do you have a similar recommendation for women please? Cheers from Marg
Great video! Would you consider the first week of September to be autumn?

We were there the last week in August, 2017. I think this video definitely applies. We wore a winter hat every day and it didn’t rain at all while we were there.
I was confused when it said Spring. Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere but Spring in Australia.
This month i went to come Iceland insha allaah
Going to Iceland Oct 18th this year, using your videos for my packing, itinerary everything! I am confused how to book a northern lights tour. We will be driving around the ring road in a camper & don’t need pickup/drop from places so need recommendations for northern lights tour booking guides

Here is a link to my website with information on the northern lights! icelandwithaview.com/?s=northern+lights I'm happy to hear my videos were helpful with you planning your trip! I hope you have a fabulous trip to Iceland!!
Hi there, Would you keep this same packing list for a November trip as well? Going there for 10 days starting the last week of October
Thank you!! I was hoping you’d put out a fall video soon! I’m planning on taking a thicker waterproof down/puffer jacket for mid-end September. Do you think that’ll be okay??
@IcelandwithaView

Will be great, just don't forget the essentials!
Question! For the northern lights do you recommend taking a tour and paying or should I just drive myself out to the country side and wait for the northern lights?
@IcelandwithaView

It really depends on the individual! I did do a video on it right here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nmyVlLmSdbnZgcY.html
Will I need a parka in September? I am always cold!
Heading over in September. Flying Icelandair, carry ons only. Could you recommend a personal item backpack that meets requirements?
@IcelandwithaView
Жыл бұрын
Hi Cheryl! You'll definitely need to check with IcelandAir for their measurement requirements regarding carry on luggage but here are my recommendations for packing stuff: www.amazon.com/shop/jeannie-lifewithaview/list/3GB3LXJJ3M1KL?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d And, here is a link to all of my other packing suggestions: www.amazon.com/shop/jeannie-lifewithaview
I'm going to be there the last week in August so do I pack for Summer or for Fall?
@IcelandwithaView
Жыл бұрын
August is technically still considered Summer; it would depend on if you are visiting late August? You may want to consider taking a look at my packing lists by season to see what might make sense for you: bit.ly/Icelandgear

@@IcelandwithaView Thanks! I will be there the last week in August.
I want to come in October I am india I want a accommodation
Some of these items have poor reviews yet are expensive. And some items are redundant like a rain coat AND a water resistant coat, for example. I sincerly hope you aren't just suggesting certain (more costly) items just to profit of the sales. That would be a shame.
Omg thank you so much for this video! We're leaving mid of September to Iceland and we were searching for a list what we should bring. Thanks to your video we were able to fix that! You were the only one who uploaded a a dedicaded video to that! So ceep up the good work!💪
