Astro! Yes!!
Beautiful area but I can’t help wondering about rattlers as you jump among the rocks!
I certainly enjoyed the landscape scenes and the beauty of the area but what I appreciate most was the artistic thought process involved in the composition of the pictures. Something I don't feel confident in, so listening to your thought process helps me with how to approach composition. Thanks for another enjoyable video.
At 8:00 I was almost literally screaming "Look to your right!!" Thank God you did.
For me, micro four thirds is perfect. It has some stunningly sharp lenses, of which the full-frame equivalents I just wouldn't be able to afford. Not having to sell a kidney for top lenses outweighs the trade-off of dynamic range and noise that comes with micro four thirds. Plus, with Olympus, you get the bonus of having industry-leading computational features and stabilisation.
Love the photos! I've been very happy with my Olympus OM-D E-M1x with 12-45 f/2.8 and 40-150 f/2.8 setup so far; especially for landscape photography. I just spent the evening photographing bluebonnets here in North Texas yesterday and loved the versatility and quality of the system.
I'm using an older Olympus and am very happy with it. I would like to get some of the new features in the OM1M2 like subject detection AI, and the live ND filters. If you get out for another landscape shoot with it, you might try the ND/Grad ND filters in camera.
I use a Lumix G9, and previously had an Olympus E-M1 mk2, and I'm a fan of the system. I left for a while and tried both Sony and Canon FF mirrorless, but the size and weight(and cost, in many cases) of the long lenses brought me back to Micro 4/3. Yes, there's more noise at a given iso(approx 2 stops compared to those FF bodies), but a lot of that can be overcome with IBIS, fast lenses, and software in post.
brent I love these photos Bravo
Awesome.. thanks for sharing your ideas and suggestions, and it is good to see you using a different brand of camera 😁
Great video! Those pictures turned out great. That camera is one of my dream cameras. I use old Olympus OM-D E-M5 almost daily. Same with my Canon EOS 6D. I just love using different cameras so MFT is perfect for me often.
I have the OM-1. Love it, wish you would have tried the in body HDR. Great video, Thank you. Mike

I like the tinaja image.
@17:07 The holes in the ground... they look a bit like the remains of xenoliths that have been weathered out. What do you think?
Nice 👍 if you compare the colours you get with OM compared with Canon. Any major differences?
First 😍
Don't squat to fast with those cacti between your legs 😂
