01 - 07 chevy , New process transfer case , will get pump rub , sooner or later , just replaced mine , 296000 ,almost 16 mpg , stock , drive anywhere , she's a doozy ! Enjoyed your straight forward opinion , get Jr a tool kit !!

Looked at a 2007 duramax today and it had no blowby but a little Milky oil In the oil Cao but that's be because it's winter

Just found an 05 LLY 180k on it for 18k. Think I’m going up grab it!

How can you check out the lower end, short block?

I have been thinking of making a offer on one thats been sitting, 2002 1 ton dually, 170k km, been sitting for 3 maybe 4 years, needs 4 new tires, and the frame is solid but needs cleaned up, and just a little bit of work and tlc, otherwise seems in very good shape, has had injectors already done too, any suggestions? I don’t really have a purpose for one of these but it would be a dream truck i live in the salt belt i wouldnt plan to drive it in the salt, and just overall preserve and enjoy it,

Try checking your fuses/relay box

I bought a 2006 GMC Sierra 2500hd 6.6 Duramax work truck has 360.000km had to replace the cab corners and rocker panels. The truck runs amazing it did have a lift pump but it was removed everything else is stock its a great truck just need to do basic service on it. Love the truck not a fan of fender wells on just another place for it to create rust.

I’ve had thermostats go bad witch will also cause a hard radiator hose

It’ll be fine, a lot of people just like EFI live for these trucks as long as you get a reputable tuner. Edge is what I would consider a box tuner, so it should be safe

i just found a 3 or 4 owner lbz with 130k miles. but it has a bad abs sensor im pretty sure. 18.5k after tax out the door. regular cab rust, all stock except bigger exhaust. hit 100 easy and didn't have any issues other than a shuddering break pedal cause of the abs issue. airbag light is on. check engine light is on. however the miles on the engine and trans alone make me not want to pass it up. and advice from anyone more experienced? lbz is my dream truck and i just found one with 30k less miles than my 2010 Silverado 5.3... pretty torn lol. doing another drive and checking some more details tomorrow.

Because they’re pre emissions, easy to work on, reliable when stock, and super sought after. Supply and demand my friend. The demand is high and less and less clean ones exist every year. Gonna get more expensive for a clean low milage it’s just how it is

My 88 is coming up on 500000. miles and it's coming apart found a 03 I'm gonn look at with 103,000 on it with an LB7 That dam 88 got 24 miles to the gallon loaded or empty. dam good truck sorry to see it ware out.
