Thank you so much for this video, it was very informative. I'll be visiting Finland in a couple weeks and I was wondering how easy is it to use the public transportation. Since I'm on a budget, I'm thinking of using bus, trains and all that, and kept wondering if the transportation offers a wide variety of options to depart and arrive at certain times, of it it's more like a couple buses in the morning and a couple buses in the afternoon/night. Also, if I may ask, is flying the best way to visit Lapland from Helsinki, and would a couple days of visit would suffice in order to see Santa Klaus and other interesting touristic points up north? Kiitos Paljon!

Hi Alice, thanks for your comment! If you book your train tickets in advance you can get better deals so I recommend you do that now if you know you will be needing it. You can do that through www.vr.fi/en/ ☺️ Onnibussi (bus) is another affordable option, but train is much more comfortable in my opinion, and faster. The time schedule and options depends on where you're going. Some connections have many options on departure and arrival while other have less - you can check those things too on the train company's website linked earlier or on Onnibussi website. Flying in Finland can be quite expensive but if you only have a couple of days then definitely consider flying since it's the fastest and easiest option. Finland is a very long country geographically speaking so it can be challenging to find other good options. Lapland is a very large area so it would take a long time to explore it, but seeing Santa Claus's village on the Arctic circle (in the city of Rovaniemi) is something you can do in couple days. I know the travel youtube channel Flying the Nest has some nice vlogs on visiting Lapland on a short trip so it would be a good idea to check that out too! ☺️

I’m visiting Helsinki in July! I have some concerns regarding the weather, obviously it’s summer but I come from the Middle East so summers here are really hot, so I was wondering if summer in Finland would require a light jacket as I am more prone to getting cold easier.

Yes definitely bring a light jacket and an umbrella! Finnish summers can be unpredictable and especially evenings can get chilly 😅

Safety: "Every year, Global Finance always publishes the safest countries in the world and now this year's list is clear. 2019 Finland did well in the global comparison, as it ranked third. Iceland ranked first and Switzerland came second". (Sweden was only 13th in the comparison :)
