Great video, I’m trying to encourage my dad to get one in his garden to produce food as I see global famines ahead. Best wishes 👍

Fabulous video! Thanks for sharing! I'm going to have a polytunnnel for the first time this year and have no clue what will do well in summer without burning to a crisp. Mine is three feet shorter than yours but it wll still be nice to have.

Lovely video, very useful. I am just in the process of clearing a bramble covered allotment hopefully by Christmas so looking at polytunnel options. Many thanks.

I've just subscribed to your channel. I am about to buy a 6x3m polytunnel, as the climate in Northern Spain (British weather over here) isn't great for growing tomatoes and melons. Now I am setting up a drip irrigation system, putting up a couple of 1000 litre containers for next season!

Your comments are spot on. I have a 24x7m PT and there are challenges throughout the year that require a refined approach for the same crop. I still make a lot of mistakes every year but its fun learning. Great video.

Loved this! I love my polytunnels too I have three of them. I hope this year (if health isn’t an issue this year, grow through winter in my garden tunnel at least. It will be my first time doing this. It makes sense to me as it is laying empty through the cold months here in Dublin (Ireland) I was just looking at Inca berry seeds yesterday I think I will give them a go this year too! Fabulous with a good cheese or with a pavlova wreath 🙌 and they are expensive to buy here!

Thank you for your comment! Yes, I didn't know it would work either until I tried it, and it worked just like tomatoes (ie taking cuttings from an elbow between leader stem and branch).

@@AllotmentBook have you tried over wintering tomato cuttings? I have a spare cool box room that I use ,, take cuttings in Sept and they just tick over all winter ,, with not much waterIng and they do look a little bedraggled due to the low light levels,, I then take further cuttings in March and I haven’t had to buy any Sungold f1 for about 4 years now ,,I get tomatoes about 3-4 weeks earlier this way than sowing seeds too ,,

@@lisag9493I live in South Wales, I have grown tomatoes outdoors and taken cuttings halfway through the summer so they're well established by autumn, in my unheated conservatory I had fruits ripening all through the winter and into the following spring (far less than peak summer yield of course but I was amazed). I think a polytunnel would be similar.

I have never understood why people choose net doors. If it’s for ventilation then just open both doors and buy a cheap fan for still, windless days.
