September and October are the only times we have visited the park in the past so when we think of RMNP and Estes Park, this is what we see. Last October 2, we were hiking and lumpy ridge and the aspen were so golden yellow it reflected off our skin and clothes. It was magical!

I had my cabin booked and timed entry permits purchased for August, but I am shuffling everything to September. I've always come in June, July, or August. It's time to experience the magic of September! Thanks for this very informative video!

This video is very helpful to plan our trip in Sep 3rd Week this year. Hoping to catch the beauty of Aspen colors in Rockies. Any suggestions on how we can plan our 4 day trip to rockies? Is Estes Park location a ideal place to stay?
