julie Wallis I’m always looking for “tips and tricks” for students especially because I’m in nursing school I look for recipes and ideas that are budget friendly and on the go to keep me from eating out all the time
just a heads up- if you take vitamins or medication in the AM, do not get the charcoal drink as it will absorb them.

I’ve read charcoal should be consumed 2 hours before meds or 2 hours after.
I think I am obsessed with all of your videos. I started watching them right after I had my twins (4 months ago) and I've completely transformed my mind and body through mindfulness and diet change. People have no idea how I look and feel so good with twin babies and a kindergartener.

That's awesome like how you can use rusted metal water to oxidize your plants. How can you not care !
Try cutting your strawberries by plucking off the leaves with your finger and only getting the white part and conserving all the red parts ... u can do this but circling the knife around the top like a cone ... you save like 25 percent of the strawberry by cutting it properly ...

I ise a straw put the straw through the bottom of your strawberry and push the grren leaves through the top .. Try it I was like wow that's cool doing it my first time 😝
frozen berries are healthier any way since they are flash frozen at their peak of nutrients

Saber J Lyte - No, it is called «Flash freezing», they freeze the food very quickly, in a special freezer meant for that. They have such freezers e.g on factory trawlers that fishes huge amounts of fish, the fish is pulled up, gutted, filleted and flash frozen, so it is almost better than what is called «fresh fish»... Well, so I remember, from way before I went plant based... ☺️

Fresh is ALWAYS better. As fresh as possible. Store brought isn’t as fresh as perhaps going to a pick me farm or having it delivered from grower

I’ve been practicing food combining after stumbling across your videos and I’ve been doing great so far! My habits are gradually becoming healthier. Since I want to stay hydrated I just have to be sure that I’m drinking it on an empty stomach, which keeps me from eating irresponsibly. I just prepped the quinoa tabouli for lunch tomorrow. I haven’t tried it yet but I added a small amount of finely diced red onion and mixed in some minced fresh garlic and a splash of balsamic in with my lemon/olive oil dressing. Sooooo looking forward to it. 🤤😋 And yes, it did take forever to chop, especially the parsley. 😅

The “fake hot coco” sounds fantastic. I totally agree about leaving out dairy. I’m much better since basically quitting dairy near 2 yrs ago. I’ve been using a tea with mushroom in it at night. Really glad you’ve been discussing things with 🍄 mushrooms ( very good for health and I’ve always loved the taste ) Do you ever use honey in anything ? I always keep buckwheat honey at home. Hello Dr. Mona. I love your videos, I am a 52 year woman who decided it was time for me to stop existing and start living that being said I am putting me first. I recently purchased organifi green, red and protein which will be used for weight loss. As a coffee drinker I am very interested in two of the four Sigmatic products that you have discussed in this video. My question is can these two products coexist or more importantly should they.

Don't buy into these products. Most of them don't do anything other than make her money. A drink isn't going to help you lose weight...you have to get active and change your eating habits. Calorie deficit is the only thing that will work, all of these fad diets and products are just marketing gimmicks and things that make you waste your money with no results. Plus she doesn't have that mushroom drink because she likes it or believes in it, she just makes money off of it.

I've tried the mocha and it is SO good. They are 100% safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding as it is all natural ingredients. I know she is promoting them but take it from someone who does NOT get money from them, these products are awesome. I cant drink coffee so I use the mocha and it has just enough to keep me energized without the jitters.

If you are a vegan, your body needs good fats like extra virgin olive cold pressed and avocados, for example.
In one of your videos you suggested drinking warm water with, apple cider vinegar, lemon and cayenne pepper first thing in the mornings. So, has that changed? Is cold water the best thing to drink in the mornings?
I love this video. Just a tip to save time - strawberry greens are edible and good for you, from what I've read. I just toss the whole berry into the blender. Can't taste the greens once they're blended in!

Me too. Be sure you rinse them well in a bowl of water to remove any residue caught in the leaves.

Jenell Magrum I would honestly recommend stop the lemon as it sounds like you’ve got an enamel problem and have very sensitive teeth! Stuff like raw lemon juice contributes to this problem

Dr. Vand cooks like I do - very little! I do intermittent fasting so like to have really good meal for dinner. I'm vegan, dairy free, sugar free so she's talking my language. Love lentils and found some really good Indian soup mixes with all the yummy spices & organic! only requires boiling water so I'm good. I know mushrooms are super healthy but so difficult to eat them all the time so may try the Four Sigmatic.
