Kamikaze has great food! And i was so totally eyeing the ferris wheel fries but really need more people to share it hahaha. They have this soju freeze thingies that looked pretty good as well.

I like Mandon and Adria but in this episode, they were quite long winded and repetitive, felt that this video could be less than 20 min so tht it's more entertaining, rather than like a documentary.

food is real expensive though, if not might worth the try

ive been to grid before and i would like to say that these restaurant is quite expensive!But ive tried a restaurant there,(thai street), and it is the only one that is affordable there.All foods are under $10 and there is NO service charges.Their food taste not bad and their ambience is as good as those restaurants.You guys should go try out!

I think both of them have no chemistry and its one of the few eatbook episodes that I fast forward to skip so many parts. It is also obvious that though Adria is trying her best, talking about food isn't her thing. So far Chiara is still the best and you can tell she really likes and knows what she's eating

I wouldn't say that she is boring tho. I watched the video too, and I agree that i was honestly paying more attention to Mandon, cos Adria was doing relatively lesser descriptions of the taste, first impression when eating, explainer on special ingredients of the dish etc. She was mostly doing like reaction noises to Mandon? I noticed a lot of hahaha, walao, but i felt that her reaction during the video was as if she was talking to Mandon, then Mandon is talking to us when he is describing the taste of the food. 8:48 I really liked Mandon's explaination at this part, or in general, the food at house on the moon. So, I would state that as my reason why I payed more attention to Mandon, in the beginning to middle of video. She did say some description of the food, like during the beef noodles portion at isshin, or when she nvr expected xxx dish to be so spicy, but i did wish that she did not just stop at there, and elaborated more, like mild spicy with a hint of sweetness that hits you as an aftertaste, as an example. Most of the food description came from Mandon. However, nearing the end of the video, Adria was talking/leading the conversation more with her talking about the vibes of the place, so my attention was more focused towards her. She also did put in effort to host, so to just simply pin her with the label of 'boring' is a bit rude, imo. I quite enjoyed her talking near the ending of the video, when she talked about what she liked about the pastries that she tried in the vid. I would rather some better feedback be given, e.g.which part you found "boring" or which food you felt could be better described etc. rather than just a short statement of "argh boring, eatbook change host pls". This comment is honestly not very helpful to Adria. We want to help her grow into a better host, not put her down and say:"you are inadequate as a food host" cos it just becomes self fulfilling. I guess feedback would be for Adria to do more description of the food instead, but i liked her energy in the video. She is clearly excited to share the food with the viewers.

Agree, I will not watch if I know she is in the vid but this time I watch it cos of Mandon, he is very professional when it comes to food. Adria is too loud and noisy, always making all those irritating sound, always kbkp but can't hear her words clearly. Disturbing sound machine that gives people headache, never like watching her.
