Years ago, one day in September, mom and I visited some of her father's family in Gdansk. Next time, one week in the area, may prove more leisurely. 🚂 We enjoyed travelling around Poland by train.

The most beautiful city in Poland, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. There is everything here: monuments, great architecture, wind from the Baltic Sea and happy people of the sea. Gdansk is connected with other cities such as: Sopot and Gdynia, which is called the Trojmiasto. Beautiful beaches and tasty regional cuisine.

I just love you guys! Also, I dabbled in broadcasting (in another life, HA! College), and you can cut wind noises on your microphone by putting a condom (I know, it's weird) over it. Oh, AND! So, LabCorp bought all the lab services for the Ascension Healthcare System, which is where I work. I discovered that LabCorp actually has facilities in Poland! So... maybe in a year or two, I can actually follow through and move to Poland for work! How awesome would that be?

In 2013 1 USD = 3 PLN and I felt rich when I visited. Today I would live like royalty! In Gdansk we saw beautifully painted exteriors of buildings, and an apartment building outside the shipyards built in the Soviet era that our tour guide called the ugliest housing ever built. I will enjoy a return visit some day.

I can recommend a great producer Rick Steves, he has a sea of people helping him with it so he puts out a super high quality product (also gets paid pretty well for it - we don’t). There is also the Travel Channel or other, more professional KZreadrs. I hope you will find something that you can enjoy.
