Love it Lex. Keep the vids coming.. I started building my bankroll at $1-$2 NL($200 max buyin) & have now moved up to $1-$3($600 max buyin) & using about 30% of my roll to buyin now. I love it but taking it slowly cause I could just be on a good run. Learning alot from you vloggers thanks dude

I also started at 1-2 and have played as big as 10-25. Strongly recommend (as most people do) you never have more than 5% of you bank roll in play. If you bankroll is 2k and your buying in for 600 you could play perfect and still run the risk of going broke

Thanks Lex! Needed this video this week. February has been my worst month after having Dec and Jan being my best ever. My first session in March, I was down 800 in my 5/5 (300-600 buyin) ...stuck it out and ended up leaving with a 120 profit, long 8 hour session, my losses came in the first 3 hours.

What you're going through mirrors what I'm going through. Great December and January, abysmal February and so far terrible March (though most of my losses are due to tournaments, but some cash games). It's really enough to make me reconsider playing poker at all. Thankfully I'm not a pro so it's not my main source of income, but still very demoralizing and makes me feel like I've completely forgotten how to play poker.

Hey lex, I truly believe this is possibly your best poker session ever. To get stuck early on and then lose your next few hands in a row normally from earlier episodes you would go on tilt and either lose more money and decide to go home but this time you persisted push through and end up having a winning session without going on till just awesome man your progression as a poker player is obvious and right in front of you you’re amazing well done

This is one of my favorite videos. Today, I run badly, and I also play badly. Began to blame myself and lose confidence. when I am losing an frist all-in, and my mentality is beginning to tilt. After that, I began to be reluctant to give up every big pot even though I knew I was behind. Now I realize that the influence of tilt on myself is enormous. I don't have the ability to handle tilting, so I should leave poker's table when I'm down. I will limit my buy-in in the future, because I always make wrong decisions when I am down. And began to rest and try to play some small games. Don't let the tilt of this scene continue to the next one.Thank you Lex

Finally make it to the poker room last night, it’s been awhile. Sat 1-2 table and I have the exact experience you going through. I stick to my gut and continue playing, after 2 hours I finally on the green side. After 6 hrs of playing I decided too racked up, walking away with a profit. I don’t play full time or part time, I just go and play when I get a chance. I think I’m going to step up into 2-5. I been playing 1-2 for awhile and I feel good and comfortable, I probably going to play 2-5 next time.

Do you notice that when you are on extended downswings that you tend to play more passively in spots where you’d normally take the aggressive line? I’m noticing some of that in your play (I’ve watched nearly all your videos). I catch myself doing that sometimes on down swings too and it usually has the reverse effect and costs me more. Anyways great advice, my favorite vlogger by far! Always rooting for ya lex
