For The Hyundai Seoul Christmas reservation, it needs to be booked through Naver Booking which foreigners can’t use. There is waitlist that you can sign up every day for any cancellation that are made each day. However, it requires a phone number to receive notification. I haven’t dont it myself :((

I just returned from a one month trip to Korea. Having watched your content I felt much more comfortable with my new environment than I would have otherwise. Your suggestions as to where to go and what to see were also a big help. I had a great time, but now I wish I had gone in winter to see all those beautiful Christmas lights. (In terms of Christmas, I saw some department stores had QR codes in their Christmas windows. I heard that they send you to a page that has more Christmas stuff on it. My phone wouldn't read them, unfortunately. Is that a thing?

Great to hear that our content helped you to travel Korea well ;)) Yeah, Christmas is amazing in Korea. I love it. just that it's cold.. lol. Really? I have not seen any QR codes. Maybe I wasn't paying too much attention. I will look for it when I visit a department store!

Hi, I will arrive South Korea next month. I will first visit Gangwon Do. Since my first stop in Gangwon Do , I will definitely visit the Daegwallyeong Ranch during my stay in Pyeongchang. I am keen to visit Nongoldam-gil , Donghae, Gangwon Do after that. Could you please share some tips or guides on how could I travel from Pyeongchang to Nongoldam-gil , Donghae, Gangwon Do? In fact, I will proceed to Sokcho after visiting Daegwallyeong Ranches. Should I go and visit Nongoldam-gil , Donghae, Gangwon Do during my stay in Sokcho. My main objective to visit Gangwon Do is purely for some snowy landscapes photography. Besides, I would love to see the ice sculptures in Cheongyang Alps Village. I am travelling solo and would like to know how could I get to this Cheongyang Alps Village when I return to Seoul. Thanks. Good vids and keep up the good work 👍

  • @yourkoreafriend

Yes! You can visit Nongoldamgil while staying in Sokcho. In the map it says 2 hour bus ride from Sokcho terminal to Donghae terminal and 20 minutes walk to Nongoldamgil. You can use Naver Map to search the route. :) For alps village, you can go by yourself using bus, but it will be better to use tour service. I might do the same. I haven’t tried but Trazy.com is english friendly tour site. Search alps village on their website to see tour options. 😊 Hope this helps!

Sounds great. I will consider to visit Nongoldamgil when I am in Sokcho then. But, I need to double confirm there is snow in Nongoldamgil when I am around. May I know is there any locker storage services at the Donghae bus terminal?? Anyway, thanks so much for the help.@@yourkoreafriend
