I’m scared! We’re leaving on Saturday to come here for 5 day - I am NOT a city person! They give me anxiety! I have no idea why my mom picked Miami - the largest city in Florida 🥺 and we don’t have a lot of money either. Unfortunately our hotel (South Beach Hotel) will not let us cancel, so we will just have to make the best of it. I’ll probably be on the beach alot. I hope we can find some things to do!

Hi @andreaking2358 Thanks for watching the video. To be honest, Miami is not as bad as some people say...like every other city (big and small) it has its good and bad things. Don't let the "big city" vibes and high price tags ruin your time in South Florida. Like any other place you vacation at, Miami is as expensive as you want it to be...I'm sure you and your family are going to have an awesome time. @MiloEstevez thank you!’ I ended up absolutely loving Miami!!! I want to go back and was sad to find out we only had 3 nights there (so only 2 full days) I can’t wait to go back one day!!! It was beautiful!!! Especially the south point port of south Miami Beach - omg 😍😍😍 we saw a cruise ship and a yacht go by! I’m from a small town so this was my favorite part. The buildings were so beautiful!!! 😻 and there were cats outside hanging out on the rocks and tons of designer dogs in this dog park who were all so well behaved (probably bc rich ppl send their dogs to school etc lol) it was just SUCH a cool place!

Do you recommend renting a car in Miami? I’m planning on staying at Mid Beach, but wanna see the city as well

@sadier4660 I think it depends on how long your stay is and what part(s) of the city you want to see. If you're staying between 2 - 4 days, and most of the time you'll be hanging around Miami Beach you might be better off using Uber and Lyft. If your plan is to move frequently (like every day, multiple times during the day) between Miami Beach and the city, then rent a car. Hope that helps, thanks for watching and for the support. We just went and rented a moped $50 for 12 hours and basically used no gas great way to go if you want to visit a lot of places and not wait in traffic

Hi @BenjaminJacobus thanks for watching. Unfortunately, no. Miami’s public buses were free for a few months towards the end of last year, but that ended in early January.

@BenjaminJacobus thanks 👊🏻🔥 The trolleys and the metro mover are free. The metro mover is this tiny car that only operates in downtown Miami. The trolleys are more common, but they have very specific routes. The metro rail (train) is not free.
