Came home today to the start of a leak in my water tank. This video saved me a lot of damage. Thank you so so much as I had no clue what to do to stop the water.

Coming home to a water heater leaking is no fun. This help me in not freaking out. Will be calling for repair/replacement tomorrow. Thanks for making it clear on what to do before calling for service.
ALL of the other guys overlooked the air intake valve. One even said not to touch it. Before this video I endured hours of a slow drip from the tank. After flipping the air valve it was over in minutes. Thanks from Cincinnati Daniels Plumbing.
Once I flipped the air intake valve the slow trickle finally stopped was waiting for hours for it to finish, thanks for this video

THANK YOU for making this video! My water heater started gushing water at 11:30 at night. I've never owned a home before, so I was unsure of what to do. But after watching your video, I did what you suggested (turned off the house water, since my water heater doesn't seem to have a value like you showed) and shut off the fuses (electric). I think I can get some sleep now and call the plumber in the am.
