when i enter my phone in fastboot the mi unlock software does not recongnise that the phone is connected please help

Hi. Any advise if the phone that i have do not have global rom version? For example the Note 7 Pro. It only has ROM for China and India version. Not in particular for Global version. Thanks. Note: I also try to download the global rom version of "Note 7" which is different model with "Note 7 Pro". The flash not successful either this way.

I think the reason why you got an error in the end, is that you in the MiFlash tool didn't remove the "checkpoint" which standard is set inside the Configuration in the menu. Remove this and you then won't get an error in the end of the flashing process #XiaomiK40GamingEdit

pwede nyo po gawin yan, basta china rom gamit nyo sa kasalukuyan, unlock nyo muna bootloader bago mag-flash ng global rom... make sure na naka-open developer options, OEM unlock tab, at usb debugging tab... at dapat naka bond ung mi account nyo sa device

I did this many times from Redmi 6 to Redmi Note 8 Pro

coz, you can't install the global rom or custom rom on a locked bootloader device... it will brick your phone if you didn't unlock the bootloader

No it will be fine. You can even degrade versions miui 12 >>> miui 10

Yep, this guy predicts it. Miui 12.5.1 doesn't support google services right now, my google play store doesn't work. it's not coincidence that I saw this video few days ago after the update.

My Redmi Note 8 Pro China ROM after updating is MIUI 12.5.1.0(RGGCNXM) and to convert it to global version I found V12.5.1.0.RGGMIXM on c.mi.com/oc/miuidownload/deta. Plz guide me that is it same or higher version to convert
