Go to dam square and sit outside and have drink/ food, then walk to leiseplein and have a drink. go back to airport. 5 hours min layover.

Hii, awesome info. Just a quick question, do you recommend a boat tour in the canals if I have a 5 hour layover in a few weeks ?

Hi, thank you so much for watching! I think it can be possible. The canal tours are usually around 1 hour, and the boarding points are just a short walk from the central station, about 3-5 minutes.

I am debating should i go or not it's my first time out of the country maybe when i come back then

Hi! Thank you for commenting. Most of the places that are mentioned in the video are actually great to visit at night. You can also just wander by the glowing canals, or visit a bar or café (especially Leidseplein is nice for bars and cafes). Museums usually close earlier, but keep an eye out for special events-they sometimes open late. Maybe you can get inspiration from here: www.iamsterdam.com/en/see-and-do/museums-and-galleries/art-after-dark-late-opening-museums-in-amsterdam (unfortunately most are still not open at night).
