I love your "on a budget" videos so much, and I'm so happy to see an updated one for Legion! I'm just now getting into Legion and the new Moff Gideon expansion and Imperial Remnant battlefront rules are actually really appealing to me (and may suit newer players methinks, from a collecting standpoint). As I haven't collected many multiples of same unit types yet, being able to field a more eclectic group of diverse imperials seems pretty cool!

The on a budget videos are awesome. Only thing that would make thme more amazing would be paint recommendations

Literally got into Legion yesterday. Went with: Clone Wars Starter Separatist Invasion Force 501st Legion Phase 2 Clone Troopers Republic Fighter Tank Super Battle Droids Count Dooku Captain Rex It was cheaper for me to add more as my FLGS gave me a discount that grew as I added more.

Thank you for all you do man. I watch you all the time. I have yet to get into Legion. With the way the economy is, it's been hard to get into anything really lol.

Thx for the video ! i did go on a Blizzard Force not long ago , here's what i buy : - 2 Blizzard Force 300$ - 1 Star Wars: Legion core set 120$ - 2 Imperial Stormtroopers Upgrade 50$ - 1 Imperial Specialists 25$ - 1 General Veers 20$ - 1 Darth Vader Operative 20$ Sold the rebel side of the core set plus the fift speeder bike unit And you're all set for a nearly complete Galactic empire blizzard force on a budget ! ( and 2 extra Darth Vader model🤨😏 )

Probably only needed one blizzard Force. I personally would of just got 1 more unit of speeders if you brought the core. Also you're never gonna use 6 units of Snow's. Standard blizzard Force is 2 units of Snow's, 2 storm heavys and 4 bikes. The extra blizzard force box is such a waste

I got my core set a while ago, now I'm pretty happy with my board game collection I'm thinking of spending my money on this now.

It’s a good list. It can be complicated to explain to someone how to get into legion these days

After collecting most rebel units and heroes in the game, i really regret not starting at the Echo Base Battlebox. If you're reading this and leaning heavily on the Rebel faction, Echo Base Battlebox is a great way to get great troops and a nice force to start learning how to play. The only thing daunting for a new hobbyist would be painting white.

I've had a 2 player starter sitting around forever due to a hilarious misadventure that I've done nothing with, but having been looking into it I've been actually considering it, naturally Empire because OMG Death Troopers are metal.

I find the clone wars set very good getting two with a few different small expansions and you have two great armies to play with your friends.

Great timing for this vid and can't wait for the upcoming what to buy first on a budget for the Rebels. For the Imperial Specialists and Stormtrooper Upgrades what do you recommend for a ratio? 1 to 1, 1 to 2, 1 to 4 etc?

1 of each, maybe down the road you'd want a 2nd stormtrooper upgrade but by no means something early on

you don't need more than 2...unless you got free money to spend. I run a mix of heavy weapons so 2 gives me enough flex to field what I want.

I think the battle forces offer great value for money entering the game, I’d always lean towards them, especially if you’re only collecting 1 faction

I'd love to see a new ranking system based on updates and new rules.

Thinking it would be cool to allow players to proxy stormtroopers with 501st troopers and Darth Vader with Anakin's model. lol basically run Vader's fist.

Essentials kit range rulers and movement tools are much nicer than those in the core sets, plus having the skirmish cards makes it great when learning the game. Aside from that great vid, but friends don't let friends play empire. Mmmk?

Im having so much trouble finding any battle forces really want the separatist one, but can only find German ones in the UK for some reason (that's on amazon)

Has anyone heard if they will be doing restocks of either of the two clone wars battleforce boxes? I can't seem to find them anywhere, in English anyway

i once killed a cad bane that was bouta kick my butt in one go with one attack from a death trooper. he was full health. i deleted him from the board. def get death troopers lol

Why would you recommend Palpatine without the guards? If you're going to recommend Inferno right afterwards, you should get Iden, NOT Palps.

For beginners to the game itself, I think the core set is better. Snowtroopers require a little more finesse in my experience. I'd also recommend ISF and Iden over any terrain packs. Same with Deathtroopers. Deathtroopers are easy to use and with double surges, you just cant go wrong with that. Shoretroopers are definitely a must unless you are just a really big fan of Stormtroopers and want to swarm your enemy with them. I think for the extra 12 pts though, switching from white to black die for damage is much much better.
