Having just watched the latest CS2 preview before this I instantly thought "no more having to do that!" when you were hand-faking a commercial orchard in an irregular shape. Looks like all that stuff will be doable from the outset in vanilla CS2.

I really like all of the detailing around the tracks with the industry and paths for the water tower. It looks very realistic. The adjacent neighborhoods look like nice places to live in my opinion as well.

Another spectacular build with great uses of space. It looks soo realistic and satisfying from the overhead shots. Every episode i get more and more hyped for when you get to the coastline and start doing the Downtown and Harbor builds.

The parkinglots on 5:02 won’t be used bcs they’re build on a pedestrian rode and that’s why all the cars r parked on the main rode. U can see that rly good at 5:43 in the lower left corner, but other than that I totally love the build.🫶

Great episode as usual ;) nice usage of terraforming, adding verticality, relief and volume gives a more realistic feeling to the city, that looks already really genuine). It's not that easy as game engine does not deal well with slopes and curves for building, lest's hope it's gonna be better on CS2 ! You are very productive those last days/weeks ! love it !

There is often abandoned space around rail lines in my town. Small industrial plots that are now overgrown and abandoned and surrounded by chain link and broken concrete. There is often dilapidated infrastructure too, like illogical road layouts that got cut off or abutments for bridges demolished long ago. And rubbish. There are places that cleanup and turned into parks but more often, they are a mess.

by "realistic", depends. for truly realistic use, like in japanese society and vietnamese, thai, indonesian, indian, etc, they still use the area around rail for normal use. but u can make it beautiful though. normal use is like.. residental, commercial, office, can still be there. but of course the price gonna be a slightly lower. but for the north america, they think residental near rail is noisy. uhh.. yes, but no. it's just your regular noisy city noises.

"Ideal" might be the more proper word. But then I look at the baseball field next to the rail track... Can the balls stuck in the rail cause train derailing? Someone else here mentioned the ponds nearby would be full of balls floating about, but what about stray balls hitting the windows of the residents there?

@imperatur, may I have a suggestion: your videos with the edits are amazing and funny, but it's a shame there are scenes that go too fast to be seen clearly. Like I had to rewind a few times and also try to pause the momentum just to see and read that "you were so close to poison your city". And for many other moments like this too!. I understand and appreciate you're doing your best to keep videos not too long to get tired of watching them, but I would prefer to rather divide your content into more videos and give to your good edits more screen time. Other than that, thank you for your massive content you provided to us along the years!
