Pasting my comment here from the poll: I think part of making Thor top tier is us learning a proper skill rotation. Unfortunately that will eat on a player's headspace. You would have to think about repositioning to maximize damage and evade getting hurt at the same time as thinking which skill you will press next. Part of why Rathgricy is amazing is the simplicity. All you need to deal damage is position Blade of order, and cast Spirit summoning once you have 4 stacks. Then not even think of taking damage because of a passive parry, and an active, visually indicated anti-fatal in divine wing armor. Thor has a butt ton of active skills. That's far off from the simplicity NoGu had with casting just the one Cart Tornado. Prime example of why I've always had the opinion that these Hero classes are hardly representatives of their original.

Agree. But also that’s why this class is really nice for ppl who want to play with a lil bit of challenge than just shoot and go like Genos and Rath, which sometimes gameplay-wise can be really boring. Other than that Rath is a better class, mostly for beginner

@@RagnarokFLyTuT yeah, biggest reason I don’t touch rath at all (except getting his wings) yet I spent heavily for thor. Thor is just that much fun and cool

I find Thor very good against mobs grouping them up and then putting mjolnir's pulsating attack on top of it. Combine that with the passive damage and the big burst timing and playing this class right is really good against packs of mobs.

Survivability - for his passive ability during storm barrier, all enemies non-wind attacks converts to wind. Wind resistant card helps a bit as it reduces -25% wind dmg. If and when you have wind resistance relic i believe the dmg during the use of storm barrier will be reduced dramatically at -85%. Give this a try and let us know more wobbly.

I tried out the full survivability gear on the beta account. It is insane for PvP for sure. For PvE you can survive stuff too. But you do have to give stuff up to swap cards or relics, whereas ronin and Rathgricy don't have to swap anything out for PvE. I will try out the wind resist card, thanks for the tip

I bought the whole package by accident, but because i already saved up runes from events/ec etc, i ended up only need to open 100 star runes (with lots of spare) and 10 yellow s runes

I'm playing a super novice, does it make sense to switch to Thor? so far, it seems like neither in terms of survival no damage, this won't give me a big advantage

Input more in Wind Element and Skill damage, you will really see a huge damage increase. I do clear SPR and Ora 14 without any problem. Everything else is a walk in the park. Survivability is a problem, but having a high shield helps so much!

@WobblyWallaby yes it does. The bleed and damage are really high. I do void, psr, ora 14, legend runs without any problems, the only one I haven't checked is airship but will do next week. The biggest problem I have is my survivability, but having over 90% of additional shields helps a lot as well as having a 7/7 core is a must. On pve is equal to Valk, but survivability is one of the worst classes until you use the wind relic. The damage intake sometimes goes to 1 point of damage in PSR. One thing I learned today is that two different wind damage are input in Thor, true wind damage and white wind damage. True wind damage will always lower your health even with full shield (red damage numbers), and white wind damage is negated by shield (won't show if you have a shield but shield will decrease) . There is so much to learn about Thor.

Yes, it will help to have that card. The arcane rune to give shield based on damage is helpful too.

Have you tried with Kobold Leader card? Is it working?

I think he is worth 98bcc, the +15 weapon is not guaranteed. You can get +12 for sure but chests just give you weapons to refine.

Honestly, I wasn't going to because I should focus on mastering what I already have. But I will since I have most of the armor already and it is limited time. Maybe work on it after Rathgricy, Ronin, RM, Heinrich

Thanks for sharing this video! I’m using Rath as my main now but often find myself losing out to Genos for MVP hunting, especially Revenant MVPs. Am thinking if the burst damage can help me achieve max damage and last hit. Which Tier is he at btw?😂

I think he is S tier for DPS. But I still prefer ronin and rath over him in general. Rath has more consistent AOE and survivability. I do agree Thor is better for boss hunting

@@oOs4MzOoI think Rath is still fairly safe for PvE. I think the devs can't nerf this class too much because of how expensive it is to get all the 2nd line runes. People will get super pissed off. The nerfs Rath got so far mostly nerf it for PvP. The cast time does suck against sandstorm in oracle and cast debuffs, but it's still very usable in most instances.

No anti fatal, just a huge damage reduction when storm barrier is active. Rath still has the best anti fatal x 4.

Hi, can you help me? why does my skills miss Nuka at 3f CML? We were able to kill Poca, Joel and Camorra but we got wiped since our skills won't hit Nuka Here are my stats Pen: 73% Wind Dmg: 101% Without buff Hit: 570 Skill Dmg: 42% IGN Def: 200%

My understanding of Nuka, is that only certain classes can hit it. You can't use long ranged melee classes like Thor. You have to rely on classes like Taekwon and Saitama do kill him. It is the same reason why Ronin can't hurt him in legend.

Between being stuck with wind dmg and the majority of his damage only hitting a target or two, Thor feels pretty lackluster, perhaps he becomes a PvP job

Does this job also benefit in movement speed?

No, the damage doesn't go up based on move speed. Move speed is good in general though.

I think Thor is meant for PVP especially for 6v6. With its skill that convert all dmg to wind. Thor will become a good orb holder.

It is leveled up by getting 2nd line runes (6%) chance. Each rune you get adds one level. There are 3 S runes and 3 Star runes. You will need a lot of runes

People loved the Thor and I have been seeing a lot of guild mates play it but I still think rath in my opinion is the OG s class hero :)

Rath still has the best survivability, which is why I still think's superior. If you're dead, your DPS is at 0 anyway :)

Surprising because I kept killing Thor in woe. Personally speaking I think Thor is still new so people need to optimize how to move etc while rath is dodge and weave kinda playstyle. I’m still a brute force kinda player so not much beats my Thanatos for running into someone and blowing them up

the video is pretty bold that thor can run solo Legend instance so for void its much easier to finish the MVP there specially if u do buffs on the Maps the only Problem for you is the affix , Poring , Mitigation and Plague is your problem and MVP that has DMG reflection too

@@tosondesigns2291 for me bro since u r a low depo go for Rath, rath is much easier to build and can do most of MVP even on certain affix that really hard to finish void u just need full buffs on Map and 7/7 core rune and some decent not end item gacha so u can use for a while , then after u get phase on rath that can finish void u slowly build thor so u can have both void for rath and thor for instance pvp etc etc since they are both Physical type, me im not a 100+ depo and yet im pure magic type person but since im having struggle to do void i switch to Physical for creating fake Rath 0+ AE items and the good thing my gacha on AM somehow useful for rath that i use for void , also my rath does not do really high dmg i always buff on map which help more to survive and do dmg to MVP i can finish 720ct even on hard affix day but it depends on you if u want focus this Thor or will create rath , i know this thor can kill high Mvp that drop purple relic judging from his dmg to the legend instance sure he can u just need decent gacha too first ans cards

"convert all damage received to wind damage" is genuinely the most busted thing I have ever seen in this game... -60% from the relic, -75% from dokebi armor, -20% from guild blessing, and you can easily increase it further with MANY other items... how is this at all balanced? objectively speaking there is no reason to play any other class now

Sadly this hero became a meme hero, theres a better pve job than Thor and in pvp still can't beat Jormun cuz when Thor's shield depleted he will get fire + earth combo from jormun if you wearing dokebi plus Rath Holy dmg deal more dmg as well to Thor with wind armor as default property (if his shield depleted or expired) also this Job doesn't have anti fatal and cc resist

Guess I'll just buy to unlock but not to play. What's the point when this is rathgricy mobile lol All jokes aside they really should nerf Rath more into a pvp niche. The last round of nerfs didn't really do much to raths in the pvp scene.

I consider Ronin and RM magic pve LOL with the bug on mdef gear conversion they get around 80-100k matk way higher than all magic class.

Probably water dummy, demi-human, large? The damage output can definitely be high. I've also seen other classes hit the dummy for 2B like Ronin.

Hey wobbly, I have Thor 6/7, compared to Rath its increase the dmg around 70%, is insane on Museo or island as you said. For PSR I concord that its not the best class, mainly because of the wind dmg, you can't compare with Rath or Ronin (im main ronin) because of elemental advantage of this two, but it also do some dmg. For Airship I haven't test it yet, but I will focus my build on full poison dmg build, I have tried it on field mvps and it works perfectly!, the main issue is that you can't target a single moob... I really believe that the devs will fix this shortly, just for the popularity and central roll on the overall Ragnarok history. if you want to see some runs pm on the game, my id name is kevineco cyou around

Thanks for all the useful info. I agree, wind is bad for PSR. For airship dark convert is the best and ronin and rath can benefit from that.

Poison build is not ideal for Thor cause his main dps skill attack enemies randomly. Unless there is only 1 target within 8 meters of the skill range.
