Question... I have this male puppy that's almost a year old that doesn't have a kink but the father of the pup has a very slight kink.. if I were to breed this boy in the future would it produce kinks?

Absolutely I would. Runt means absolutely nothing and a lot of times it is mistaken for a preemie.

Question. Once a puppy is picked and you get it home what's the normal feeding schedule and food type to feed the pup. Bulk it up ? Free feeding ? Any supplements?.

Hey. So I have an American Bully XL around age 5mo. I got him over 3wks ago. He’s already over 50lbs. Well my thing is, I don’t want to crop his ears, though it’s being recommended that I do. What’s your take on ear cropping and does it make it less of the “standard” if they aren’t cropped? Also I’m thinking it’s already too late to conduct that sort of procedure anyway.

Ear cropping is for cosmetics to make them look a certain way. I wouldnt personally but its down to you at the end of the day

What in your opinion is the biggest but healthiest blood lines? I want big size but correct 🤔 And why do some big famous dogs produce small dogs? I've noticed a lot of lilac tris also throwing off smaller dogs. Some famous kennels that specialise in colour have a very different line of dogs earlier in the pedigree. Unlike the big am bulls or American pits they look small like the average Staffordshire bull terrier. Eventually ending with nice big lilac tris but every so often throwing back smaller dogs 🤔. It's so easy to buy expensive dogs that end in disappointing results. Problem is once people invest they will still breed as they fear losing out on their investment. Will this damage the breed in the long run? Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Personally I'm taking things slow, but becoming nervous of the prospect of making mistakes or bad investments. End of the day a dog is for life so I feel people need help figuring this out.

Excellent question. Reason you see smaller dogs in the Ped is because the breeder is prepping structure. Trying to get as good structure before adding size. The compromise is that you will get smaller dogs in future litters when you cross a smaller dog to a bigger one. I suggest you doing your homework and watch our videos on picking a pup before you do. Cause once you do you will have that I’m stuck mentality. Unfortunately a lot of people get sold a hustle and then want to do the same. Further damaging the breed.

They should make the standard that the dog doesn't sound like it's about to have a stroke because it can't breathe

I know I’m 9 months late here but I’m just now discovering your channel. I’m confused about the blue and champagne thing, and I was hoping you could clear this up for me. So Spartacus is blue and he threw 75% blue and 25% champagne but the blue puppies can still produce champagne? I understand that it’s possible but it’s far less likely that they will throw champagne than the champagne puppies right? So if you are breeding for color then you should choose the puppy without the black gene since black is dominant and if any of their puppies get the black gene then they will be black?
